CHRISTMAS SHOPPING BAGS
In a big bag sat, groceries bought
A tight knot tied, in the said bag got
All fell to the floor
When the bottom tore
To show, forming the knot was for naught!

I pass the bag
thinking I need salt
the bag shakes, crinkles and laughs at me
“Open me! Open me!” she yells into my head.
I do not dare.
I cannot eat just one.
I’m not shy about my sins;
most I know,
and some you’ve caught.
Yet,I have a love that sings
straight through my eyes,
and for that, poets won't write my faults.
pum/mel ...... pound .….. pul-ver-ize
(left/right) (jab) (punch-down-out)
Duckbilled platypus and koalas lead the way
Showed kangaroos and joeys Santa’s bag today
Santa showed up with a nosey kookaburra then
wanting a warm Aussie beach to plunge in
Something is in pupil’s school bag
Perhaps it’s the future of the world
Something to build or to annihilate
The secret is at the bottom of time
Till then society cannot celebrate
She slept upon a bench,
Her snores annoyed a guy.
He told her to shut up,
And stabbed her in the eye. *
*A true story about an elderly bag lady, who was murdered at a local bus station.

SHOULDER BAG
sometimes I feel like I am nothing but a human punching bag
everyone just tries to beat me up
hurt me
destroy me
just to see how much I can take
before I completely shatter and
break
Maybe every god is real
Story a necessity
However it began
It was all about the end
If you don't believe me
Fact of the matter is
A bag of matter wrote this

reindeer poop
in my yard

We let the cat out of the bag, we set the tiger loose.
We can either run like hell or look for some excuse.
It's time to come together for the weak and for the small.
The future of our planet depends upon us all.
I made myself sick with the brown bag flu,
From drinking too much of that “Mountain Dew”;
So here’s what I say,
NO drinking today;
I pray this never happens to you!
A guy goes into a drugstore to buy some condoms
'Do you want a bag?”cashier asks not seeing a problem
“No she's not THAT ugly!”
He answered smugly
Using his billiards experience, the last shot he caromed
A plastic bag appeared in my dream,
Polluting my thoughts of love
A sign or trickery it may seem
Sent from way above
I look outside and see the garden
My face begins to sag
Oh Lord, I beg your pardon
A rose in a plastic bag
This bag of sins you left are not mine
When you died they were at my door
I put them around my neck
Red shoulders, heavy heart
Your pain became mine
Time to let go
Lose your sins
Gain my
Life.
