Backache
A backache
sound of bones cracking
needs a massage

Rest
Backache
Headache
Congested head.
~
I can't sleep
when I go to bed!

Coughing
Sneezing
Watery eyes.
~
Alone and miserable
no one hears my cries!

Tired
Drained
Badly stressed!
~
What I'd give
for a month of rest!...

Springtime
Springtime
Waves crashing against docks
Flowers blooming by the rocks
Animals starting to wake
The Great Bear with a backache

Springtime
Spring will come, all in good time

Springtime
Is here to stay

Springtime
Mother Nature has to decide
Whether to stay or hide...

Obsessed
It is sweet and available but deadly,
I cannot do without taking it all the time,
even if the effects on my health are costly,
getting hyperactive is not a crime,
backache and fatigue are my normal visitors,
stomach pain and extreme pile are auditors,
 much sugar,diabetes is near!

The Amorous Eagle
An eagle was amorous one day
wanted a little bit you might say,
a hen he could not find
a duck will do he whined
I’m a Drake said duck but that’s okay,

realised he had made a mistake
by trying to make love to a drake
thinking it was a duck
our eagle was dumbstruck
his prey was suffering from backache.

Premium Member My Natural Habitat
My natural habitat is outside
Why would anyone want to be anywhere else?
I had forgotten how peaceful it is
God’s sunlight saturates my pores in a loving way

My backache and neck ache are readily disappearing
I am here, and it is wonderful as I feel her rays
I soak up the sun the way a cat does
Protecting my belly and lollygagging...

Premium Member Her Voice Is Grating
Her voice is grating. It comes through the walls.
Loud and gritty, it gives me a backache.
I can barely tolerate it.
I am so glad she is only assigned to this school for two days.
Every single word of her day comes through loud and proud.
And her voice never stops talking. She talks all day long.
The entire seven and a half hours of it.
I feel my neck stiffen up.
Wishing it was Monday, a day she does not show up....

Backache
it's insidious tendrill's wind
around your body, bringing pain,
so awful you feel like crying...
will you ever smile again?
seems misfortune comes in buckets
like the pouring rain
just how did this happen
an evil spell or just a strain?
who brought this awful bane?
I guess you gotta grin and bare it,
although that sure does seem insane!!
so Carol, hope you'll feel better,
and real quick, I might add too
trust that your family of SoupPoets,
are praying just for you.......
