The soul strives upward
yearning to cast aside flesh
Though one that tore his body asunder
found a universe did not mesh
Helpless, hapless soul
laid bare and rent asunder
by haunting vocals

Three cheers for the folk Down Under
Who blew syndicates asunder!
Their clever plot
Proves cops have got
Lightning to go with their thunder!
They sat one across from the other
Neither could move closer nor further
She winked at Jack
And he winked back
Their unrequited love asunder
I've just watched a movie
titled 'Hearts Down Under'
To savor such dumbed-down fare
one's brain need be torn asunder
some brain damage isn't physical
but a sudden assault
by sights, sounds or circumstance
that leave the cerebrum
asunder
12/31/18
gifts of the season
magic and wonder
enchantment, delight
renewal, restoration
of hopes torn asunder
holy blessings of peace
on Christmas night
Pent-up hearts release longing sighs
Winter's paused to reveal blue skies
Spring stirs for a moment, then wonders
When snowfalls will tear her asunder
Billie Boy was a lad from Down Under
Who with explosives rarely did blunder.
But he became diverted
By a blonde short-skirted.
Blam! Off to Wagga Wagga asunder.
As I Rose
I took asunder, all trials and tribulations
And I rose toward the heavenly gates
with my book of good deeds in one hand
ready to show heaven who I was.
It will be said that something glee about something
is better
like woods matter
the world we share
a family so dear
neither break shard nor asunder?.
third time rolling through
the fog, lights burst asunder
returning, picking
up ingredients for spouse
mustard and pickles wave, sigh

Placid moon
Speechless sky
Sing out, until
The day is done
Stars, we slumber
The heart be broken
The eyes shall plunder
As we go asunder
Lord, I know
The words have gone
When someone close goes away,
forever and a bloody day,
or your best girl/boy leaves,
wont talk , hey hay,
its then again we grieve....

re Anne R " Asunder "
as it all slips away
memories not saved
words you wouldn't say
love lost on the way
it echoes in the thunder
causing me to ponder
this spell I fell under
as love breaks asunder
Horses in the field
Hooves flying by asunder
Stirring great thunder

The Speaker of the House bowed in wonder...
"How will we escape this cloud we're under?"
"We'll have to excuse the "Loud One's" blunder."
"It's way too late now, the crowd's asunder!"
Myriad stars glitter
Sad music strains filter
Dreamily seen drifting
Seemingly your gifting
Horizon’s eye awakes
Sirens all but forsakes
Towers of rage thunder
Showers wept asunder
Some days are winners, others are not
Jury's out but seems things have gone to pot
My mood's in the dumper
My world's split asunder
We've run out of java, my day is pure rot
Just out of curiosity,
The honey tone hummingbird
Pierced the blue-sky door,
As the sublunary creatures
Perform the sacred moon dance
Dear hummingbird, what is your
Query or leave us asunder?
radio waves, sound waves, and ocean waves,
wave bye-bye to the moments of the tide...
they wave in unison....
swoosh and whoosh
they wave asunder as the full moon of madness reflects on.
Form:
Be still,
Thy wooden horse, and
Rejoice in glory
For we smash
The gates of Troy
The smell of victory
Hangs in these clouds
Zeus, release
Your hammer of thunder
Athena, do not
Lead us asunder
Among the morning dark
I hear her song like meadow lark
Wake by ring in whispers sung
Within my head, pass hours tune
At dusk, her touch, her warmth, her hug
As lips asunder lyrics song “Husband, I love you”
Sand of day
dust by night
men of clay
robbed of sight
bone to bone
dream asunder
violence intone
is it any wonder
we fight to no end
we lose despite
peace without defend
and at the end no respite
Chain a fool and watch him flop
His folly knows no reason
Treacherous even to his own demise
If choice were given to save his own
Life; he'd much rather
Tip the bow of his sinking ship
Just to watch it go asunder.
