Here-
no one gulps
yet we aspire
here-
no one guess
yet we dream
ah!, here-
love simply is
a fulfilment of orders.
Hopes aspire
ever-higher
wined and dined
to merge inclined
Once admired ~
forever acquired
Herculean strength of desire
Of the things in life to acquire
Patience, one must first aspire
Eases, for a while, mind in dire
Epigram #116:
HEART
Aspire to see God's face
Align your heart with grace

He, as a young man did aspire,
To early in life retire.
A savings plan he began,
To which he continually ran.
Better planning this did require
thralled, now I'm allured
with gentleness I approach
blooming dew glistens
scented petals aspire me
velvet to the touch, I'm graced
Today, I do hope to acquire
A reply from the girl I admire
For I soon will request
To be ever so blessed
With her love, that to gain, I aspire
Not as yet mastered
Something to aspire to
That crafty art of listening
When it comes to me
He hasn't perceived
The art of nodding and smiling
The moon, the sea conversed
Above, the stars conspired
Within the universe –
And I did so aspire
To capture it in verse
And by it be inspired –
the urge to serve is also a desire ~
is it perhaps ascension we aspire
reflect oh hermit, on every craving ~
all such rants are but our ego raving
While aid to stop him may expire
Vlad's drooling for space to acquire
His lust to expand
Brings rust to fertile land
To this dictators aspire
Although I always aspire to be a well-known poet,
Ironically in real life, nobody knows it,
But at least I have been writing my own life story bit by bit.
I aspire to be little more than of a certain caliber,
I'm inspired to become a person with much character,
Because I admire those who value integrity with vigor.
No greater from me does God require,
Nor less, does He, of me expect.
That for Him, great love, I aspire,
And love for neighbor, I not neglect.
Matthew 22: 37-40
Some wish to be
A sport Pro
Others would like
To be a hero
While I…
I'll have youknow
Aspire to be no more
Than a humble Placebo
I shall aspire to be just as loving and forgiving as you,
For proof you are, how it is in that we become older:
People slowly begin to present their own true colours.
Visualize being your best
Then go for it
Have that fire
Continue to aspire
Climb that mountain
Strive for greatness
Just reach higher
Be the one to inspire
People's leaders wish to be
Their country aspire to save
Justice for all they declare
Deception's road only pave!

Imagine, if the trees could bleed and the flowers cry out in pain,
Man wouldn’t worship graven images nor aspire for heaven in vain?

The flame of awareness is held by God ~
In form, illumined spine, magnetised rod
One with the all that is, all nodes afire ~
Bliss energised, there’s nothing we aspire

If you, my friend,
Aspire Wisdom's temple to build,
Be patient and, in silence, the cornerstone of it lay:
Self-knowledge!

Counted more than a dozen birds on a wire
Methinks it's a rehearsal for their heavenly choir
Birds of a feather
Flocking together
They're a-coming, to springtime they aspire
Cleared Away Mire
Cleared away mire and started to aspire;
Goals started growing higher and higher;
Though am inept,
Mission did accept;
While we wish Trump would soon expire.

As poet, I aspire to Mount Parnassus's seat;
and labor all the day, so my odes flow with beat:
as poet, I have miles to go before I sleep,
before I plumb the depths; and probe Pieria's deep!
The fledging thrush appreciate
their Mothers rung
Fresh worms
Fleet less they aspire
to fly
Secure in nest
an eiderdown of feathers
they hang onto
every tweet
mindful their day will come
