tears spurted out like arterial blood
tantalising cobwebs on the roof of flood
tearing hearts fed on love delivered

Catharsis
Vile

Dart

Piercing

Hindsight Thoughts

Bring Anguish and Grief

Remove this Vile Thing from my brain

Memories flow out with arterial bleeding

Flushed out with unconstipated relief as catharsis regains hold on reality...

Sad but true
I miss you
Abruptly
Most surely

Why did you go?
My heart hurts
Arterial stabs
Pain redecorated

Darkness floods
Wet eyes weary
Painful melancholia
Grief prolongs

Love Bursts
His tongue felt glued
to his gum with
epoxy;

his legs swayed, wobbled,
softened like
spaghetti;

for there, at last, she was,
waving over her
shoulder;

her shy smile beckoning
him, "Come on
over";

jet-black hair falling over
a mirthful, teasing
eye;

ah, arterial bursts of love,
what a swell way
to die!...

Moonlit Sonata
moonlit night
sonata of neglected
love
hundred hues of color
arbitrary choice
of linguistic
relativity
orange merges into
indigo
our tears spurted out
like arterial blood
tantalising cobwebs on
the roof of the flood
tearing hearts fed on
love delivered
tangentially
polarisation of
imminent want
to unite again
in absolute
ecstasy

Juffair
The Wagtails gathered before sunset,
Dancing their olive steps
Around treetops,
And chatting like teenagers
At an auditorium.

The sky, dreaming
Of dusk at its sapphire edge
Played with the palm trees
That spread-eagled
Lazily In shadows,

Whilst I followed a
Sandy road
Towards the sea,
Amongst the swirling dust
Of a saffron breeze;

A silent contemplation
Over ruby red wine
And arterial bursts
Of magnificent memories....

Premium Member River Tigris
Tigris, Idigna, Idiqual,
watering parched desert lands
of Mesopotamia.
Swift it flows on the East
toward the sea, from
the once fertile Garden of Eden.
Arterial blood of arid lands,
of transportation,
of trade and commerce.
In spring, mountain snowmelt
tumbles and rushes downward,
flooding alluvial plains for farming,
sharing its life-giving waters
from time immemorial to villages,
towns, and great cities....

To a Dark Heart
This morbid fascination

My unending procrastination

I hold out for everything

And come up with nothing

My nightshade heart

Plays it’s part

A special place

Not made of arterial lace

Or venous denim or integumentary leather

Made to endure every weather

I hold our for a dark heart like mine

One made not to sparkle, not to shine

To a dark heart, these battle scars are fine

To a dark heart, I will be thine....

3 Days Til Light
Drenched from head to toe
soaked and soiled.
A victim yet again
to my own self doubt.

The drive in me is gone
my desire vanished without a trace.
Yet this is only the start of my,
self induced drought.

The circulation of self hate
the arterial decay coupled with,
veinous collapse.

The childlike tantrums have increased again.
It's but true,I have regressed.

Perhaps I will survive this plight
for its only 3 days til daylight...

Loose Thread
amidst the circular, infinitely lateral depths,
a blinding, stark sliver finds consciousness;
erupting forth from the inverted arterial cascade
in arching pathways dimensionally untied
by helical vacuum vortices.

spiralling into a unique interpretation,
etched in nothing, tracing contours,
simulating substance, expanding and contracting;
held forever-more in a blind copy, apparently real,
yet in final calculation, a divisor effectively zero.
