On a Steep Hill
Freezing days on a steep hill
below a flock of sheep grazing,
under a watchful dog standing still.
And I, with binoculars appraising
Winter's life is amazing!

Brian,The Busy Bard
Three cheers for the bard,Brian Strand
The busiest judge in the land.
He'd carefully read
Appraising with speed
And then one more contest he planned!
Thank you so much for the time and effort you have invested over so many years, Brian.
All the best

I Will Sing-
And appraising
audible words
enchanting sounds
Sounds of praise going on
I will worship and devotion
I will sing the songs of songs
hallelujah praise
I will sing I Will sing
?I will sing
?I will sing
Sing I will
I will sing
Hallelujah

An Aphorism About Politics
In politics opinions all of us we have to consider prioritily only our personal interests appraising in this choice also the possible unforeseen of the life. In a democracy the result may be that we direct toward the good of the majority of people because if the decisions are at opposition with the interests of the majority are not certainly the commune good....

Business of Poetic Economics
Words much like coins
find their value in their quality
their rarity and worth
in gold silver and every
other precious metal
Poetry may as well be
the economic activity
of juggling assets
where trading and
appraising sets
its market price

Bliss Mist
Unbroken awareness continuum
amidst hues of divine love vibrations,
vivifying thus our mind body prism,
epitomises our meditation,
wherein bliss renews without cessation.
Yet here too ego pursues with vigour,
self appraising that we are the doer.
The shadow looms until we vaporise,
as a mist of bliss in realms far higher,
beholding divine wonders in surprise.

The Rot Has Sunk In Deep
Self appraising himself as a monk awake,
immune from life's outcomes, always elated,
he woke up one morning and began to shake,
quaking in fear, so had to be sedated.
No longer could he be placid like a lake,
for his feeble form's gender was rotated!
The roots of conditioning go in quite deep,
so it's best we assume nothing; let grace seep.

Life In a Glass
The sum of years raced past her eyes
Faces, places, loved, despised
Tender feelings, broken hearts
Lies unspoken, well played parts
All collected in this glass
With amber liquid mixed, alas
The burning feeling had begun
Her thoughts appraising what she'd done
On her cheek, a single tear
Her vision blurred, but her mind clear
Prepared to leave it all behind
There, in a glass, a life defined...

No More Blooms
You looked like you were arranging flowers in your head,
eyes appraising something I would never appreciate.
Later, I could tell by your silence that you were dumping
whole bunches of blooms - then you left,
leaving me with Baby's Breath,
Cattails, bamboo stems,
and thin things with bumps on them;
fillers, just the left overs --- no real flowers.
Now I have so much space,
and our best vase is full of crap....

The Prayer
Timed delicacies was baked and ready,
Hela was called to bless before they merry.
Earth of disruption; he continues praying.
Pecking the wormwood with request laying.
Raining praises cajoled by nature's product,
Appraising God for their footwears and the ducks.
Yawning still and making reference to his car,
End of his prayer was after seven hours.
Respecting sleep; Sam,Joe,Lisa are drowned.

In the Weeds
she looked like she was arranging flowers in her head
eyes appraising something I could never appreciate
i could tell by her silence she was mad at me
about something I had no clue
– then she left
leaving me with flimsy shoots of brown stuff
wilted cattails, bamboo stems
and thin things with bumps on them
fillers — just wispy crap
i hope she comes back
she will be in a better mood
meanwhile
i have ordered bought chocolates and roses...

Puberty
A father takes, eyes closed, that which he has no right
A child cries, traumatized, a closet hides her pain
The child dies, awakes to find- a woman in her place
her damaged mind- cannot abide- the change her body makes
The woman stands- naked and alone- facing mirrored images
backs away- cuts today- appraising all her damages
rearrange- her bodies change- sculpt it down to size
to take away- the ugly place- I cut it with a knife...
