   Waves wash the canvas clean
   Allow for building the dream
   Some are elegant
   Others are tall
   Waves remove them all

Sleeping With the Sexes

Sleeping with the sexes
Causes confusion amid the covers
And the sheets are turned down
To allow for clear tunnel vision
But my eyes remain blurry
And between the time I rub my eyes clear
You’re gone

Me bum is flat coz as a graphic designer I sat Crushed it, didn't allow for expansion, it's a fact Guess it's not a bad thing No need to put it in a sling Or walk around wearing a flour sack!

Sunflowers

Constant reminders
Pin-prick my heart
Till I bleed out
Melt down quietly
Alone
No one notices
Try to regain calm
A tentative hold
Easily broken
Disquiet
No one to bleed the toxin
Clean the wound
Allow for healing
Instead it silently
Festers

Premium Member Finding Peace

Alone where waterfalls pour long into streams
Nature beckons with its tranquility
I'll free my spirit, allow for its dreams
My soul lays down to find serenity

The Expression of Love

Simple words of love sometimes go unsaid
as we think that time does not allow for such
seemingly frivolous expressions of caring. Be
it known that if not said today when the loved one
is still among the living that after they are gone it
will be too late They can no longer hear you.

Burnished Refelection

Stark space
could allow for ease
of breath,
but flooded glow washes
in unrest.

Wood burned mirror
rest in farthest
corner wedge.
Its trim scrolls
heavenward in facile
attempts.

Obsidian glass obstructs
true face.
Instead providing
an image voided
of narcissistic delight.

.
                                       And you will know Peace
                               Lean on your Strength
                       Accept the Pain
               Learn from Love
       Allow for Hope
 Leave your Loneliness

Star Gazer

imperial evil rings the rebellions bell
and awakens the rebels fight
allow for a new tomorrow
a skywalker will be in plain sight
his mind as sharp and committed
as the nail that split the force
a parasite of the night are we
the padawan has chosen his course!

Righteous Anger

When anger bursts forth
In an encounter seeming to
Unleash our fury..
The veil of dualism
Of separation
Thickens..to conceal our
Inherent Peace..

Yet..the Recognition of
Anger disguising our Peace
Can allow for a
Righteous measure to be
Dealt..simultaneously
Retaining our Peace...

Intensity

The chaos in my heart
Won’t allow for anything less
Than feeling love amplified
Heightened, magnified, buzzing
Intensity to the extreme
To care for is to cherish
To want is to yearn for
To miss is to crave
I don’t love, I consume
I encapsulate and devour
I envelope and obsess
My soul cannot bear the thought
Of living without love

Choice knows the play,
Allow for zest;
Live well this day,
Make love your fest.
Align your heart,
Ply a sound feel;
Opt cheery start,
Sense sparks kind will;
Touch tells you now,
Rise with sure stride;
Observe endow,
Prime your own ride;
Heed that sure need,
Etch poise that feeds.

Shattered Dreams

Dreams make up our society
Giving us anxiety
When the last hope becomes a lie
Children are told to believe they can fly
But in the end, what wins is reality
No use for a penalty
Being told to grow up is worth a sigh
If only to allow for one more cry
Sombody makes you a priority
But it becomes so ordinary for people to say goodbye,
And no longer come by.

Premium Member Serenity

With a still small voice,
As if in Gethsemene,
I am given a choice
To allow for serenity.

It is there
I feel alone.
It's a place
So unlike home.

It is there
I take the high road.
It is there
I carry the heaviest load.

But serenity is my reward.
It's my brand new start.
This place I leave no longer alone.
This place of belonging, home.

Trance of The Zebra

Allow the rain
Hunt for berries
Echoes cast our shadows
Accept the start
Deduce the summer nights

Lemon scented mead
Initiate the Eclipse
Escape the Bunker
Silver snow storms with warm shelter

Protect the youth
Educate society in past innovations
Allow for Patience and Understanding
Create solutions to advance Humanity
Erect monuments to recognize Greatness

Understanding

UNDERSTANDING

to understand another,
one must never contemplate
the feeling of irrational judgement sought,
but hesitate for more
more understanding of cause,
more allowances of reasons pursued,
and the ability to walk in shoes of another soul
and to understand the other;
for that reason
one must never contemplate,
but hesitate to allow for more….
