Shattered Dreams

Dreams make up our society Giving us anxiety When the last hope becomes a lie Children are told to believe they can fly But in the end, what wins is reality No use for a penalty Being told to grow up is worth a sigh If only to allow for one more cry Sombody makes you a priority But it becomes so ordinary for people to say goodbye, And no longer come by.
