Autumn Leaves
Agonising golden leaves
On their deathbed, recalling
Days of glory that have past
Awaiting rebirth!

Death
The last thing
I see
Is your face.
Beautiful,
amazing.
But wrong.
Sinful,
Like me,
as if you were
the devil itself.
I close my eyes
and feel
the agonising heat
Of the buried deep, dark, domain of hell....

On Poetry
"Think not that poetry is a host of rhythms and rhymes
Nor is it some letters we have put into some paper
Poetry is nothing but tears of the heart agonising
After we have felt deeply pained and pressed."
Chokri Omri

Grace
Analyzing, agonising
Just wanna chill now
Not lose my sight
Just feel what’s right...
...feel safe alone
And now I do
Don’t need this and that
And them or you
To live my life
With all my heart
My courage, my wisdom
My passion
Be happy, sad
Be sane, be mad
Learn each lesson
And feel Grace...

I do not know?
I Will Rise
No matter how hard you hit me,I will always rise
No matter how miserable you make me I will never cry
No matter how difficult you make I will always try
No matter how agonising it is I will never die
No matter how you pray for my demise I will never die
No matter how you try to fox me I will know you are in disguise
Doesn't matter how I am subdued I will always rise,I will always rise....

Crystalline Waters
Crystalline waters
Spring of life,
Traverses newer paths,
Trace the flow of crystalline waters,
Waterfall,
inspires to meditate,
Serenity is immediate,
Stand at shore,
waters buzzing galore,
Furore engulfs agonising throes,
Sets new rhythm,
Tunes the heart beat perfect,
Thoughts flow constant to soulful enthral !

The Changing Face of Rebellion
Not so many years ago
I revelled in rebellion,
Derided seniors
In sportsmobiles,
Comfortable bellies on
Wheels. Waistcoat
Fillers. Surreptitious
Pint spillers.
But now I sit and scoff
At youth and all its
Awkward agonising
Over lack of truth.
Merrily I mow the lawn
And curse because I
Can't get my wellies on.
And my wife orders me
To buy a larger pair.
And I cry 'No!' and
She groans and I ignore
Her as I turn the telly on
And I revel in my rebellion....
