Answer the Day's Call
Aggravating things may affect us each day
Ignore them, be happy and enjoy your stay
One life that's all
Answer the day's call

My Aggravating Paramour
Stop it!
I’m exhausted by you
Always complaining, never supporting yourself
Stop it!
I’m overworked by you
Never being grateful, but expecting the help
Really!
I know it’s not your fault
Now pick yourself up, I will see you on the twelfth...

Faithful Illusion
Upon hours spent, little hope is lent
To a far more pleasing incandescent light
A hue of clockless space seen upon its face
Aggravating the light into a speckled fright

Yellow and Mean
Yellow, and mean, this time of year,

aggravating anything around.
Old Yellow Jacket, you are so mean,
just ask my kitty, his nose is the biggest,
I think I have ever seen....

My Cataracts
My cataracts are common and very aggravating
I’m told everyone over forty has them,
They certainly are on the optic nerve grating
By distorting and causing my vision to dim.
Trying to watch a movie is certainly frustrating
As faces are contorted and scenes become grim
While blinking often my eyes are adjusting
And tears are flowing from my eyes’ outer rim.

Back To the Same Family
My parents and my siblings stayed in their boxes
Not aggravating anyone, trusting others to do the same
I flew to the ceiling on my magic carpet, determined to be a dove
Why do you want peace? They asked, taking out their guns.
They shot me down, but I escaped.
Ending up in heaven for a bit.
We are sending you back to the same family, the angels said.
You have much to teach them.
I arrived back at earth kicking and screaming....
