Clip clop, our shoes go on the cobblestones
As we walk on, daddy and I
Our usual thing
The sun smiling

Talking and laughing

Getting a tan
The two bodies are fountains

We make a pact, daddy and I

Thanksgiving at the soup kitchen
where everyone has a story,
lives of pain and sorrow
spend the day eating fine food,
comforting friends of the street,
and advising mothers and children
long subjected to abuse.

One sees God in the face of
their neighbor as life's 
leftovers of humanity strive for dignity
remembering table manners they
may have learned, passing the food,
not taking too much....

By denying our dues

Sanitation and Health

The Sanitation Department merely manages our waste
It will not teach us to reduce the output (advising, “Eat less!”)
The Health system manages our obesity & diseases;
It will not teach us to prevent diseases, prevent obesity -
(unless it can start another symptoms-managing scheme)
So there is a similarity with health and waste (O crap!)
They are managed by experts, who won’t cure our maladies!

It is very bad,
you are still a lad,
if you,instead, worked hard,
you would be more glad,
lad was all ears,
he had still years,
he said let it be so,
I will try my luck tomorrow,
today let it all go,
when tomorrow came,
and the young lad was doing his rounds,
he saw police patrol,
and some caught hands,
his senior was sitting right there,
waiting for his prison stand....

telling others what to do
the sighted led by the blind
even tho' they can't do it too
curtailing all creativity
restraining imagination
destroying individuality
those who can don't need advising
those who can't should stop supervising

It is given by a mother
From the first thing they see
After giving birth and 
First leaving their teepee 

For my own mother
What caught her eye
Was a beautiful sunset
And the colour of the sky

Over there Is my daughter
Little White Fawn
From a deer and her calf
Seen that very first dawn.
Sometimes of course 
Tradition can be irritating
Sat by her side is my son
Two Dogs Copulating....
