Admittedly

Admittedly I have never had enough talent nor teamwork.
Admittedly I have never truly belonged nor been unique.
Admittedly I have never been truly me nor mean.

Little Ditty

You're extremely attractive
This much is true
A bouquet of flowers
Has nothing on you
Admittedly fawning
I plead guilty of
But I really can't help it
I'm so much in love

A Hell of a Lot of Nothing Worth Everything

Admittedly

I do not have

Or

Possess very little

But

I sure as hell

Know what

Means

1 hell of a lot

If only just for me

And that's enough

Each and every night

To send me

Soundly off to sleep

He Wears Them Well - Nay Say 2

I love the scent of those
Crisp white shirts
Long or short sleeved;
Watching those button-fly jeans,
The way they sway in the breeze…
Oh yes, admittedly he wears them well.
Is he your beloved?
No my dear it’s my clothes line!

Just a Giggler

Ahhhh the stupidity
of man and his cupidity
and true most admittedly
we use quiet befittingly
yes this is written for gimmickry
like a lot of my work characteristicly
being impish in its equanimity
leaves me most optimistically
questioning its readability

While You'Re Away

It has been a while
    since here was your presence
    and, admittedly, in essence
Empty is this life.

Missed in your absence
is your wit and your laughter,
    the cheerfulness you offer,
That perhaps time should hasten

For hearts do tend to yearn
    for your return.

Validity of Trump Stupidity

What I have always said admittedly,
Absolute zero was Trump's validity

Comparing inteligence with stupidity.

There is an inverse correlation and
relationship between intelligence
and stupidity. The lesser the level
of intelligence, the higher will be
level of stupidity.

Meow Mix

A friend of mine came here from the Ukraine
His taste in food was admittedly plain
   He dined on little cans
Used a fork or his hands
From Meow Mix he just couldn't refrain

Alliteration Allies

Dramatically daring disarmingly dapper
So soflty serene so subtly sublime
Enigmaticly entrancing enthusiastically enjoyable
Vividly vibrant vicariously viewing
Caringly caressing charismatically cosmic
Admittedly alluring amid amicable azure
Unforgettably unabashedly undemanding
Irrisistably Ignitingly Insync

Game Set Match

ON ENTERING WHAT SEEMS A GAME OF LOVE

IT'S NICE TO KNOW OF ANY STRINGS ATTSACHED

OR NETS PROTECTING FROM LOW BLOWS

A RACKET? NOT WITH PLAYERS FAIRLY MATCHED

ADMITTEDLY THE FUN INCURRED IS NOT

FOUND ONLY IN THE WINNING OR THE PACE

BUT IN THE SERVIE OF ONE'S OPEN COURT

AND YOURS IS SEEN DESERVING OF AN ACE

Irascible

Irascible (High Tempered) Written: by Miracle Man 8/28/2019 My life’s curse has been, In my being irascible. But confidence in my ability, Was always unsurpassable. Admittedly, petty things, Induce feelings of distraught. God constantly reminds me, *“Be Ye Angry And Sin Not.” *EPHESIANS 4:26 KJV "Be ye angry, and sin not:

Admittedly Aries

If we have butted heads and you're feeling run over
If the words that I speak send you running for cover
If my swift, wicked comebacks can sting like none other
Know, as much as I fight, deep inside I'm a lover

I'll embrace the STRENGTHS and fight the WEAKNESS
But I'm not sure I'll ever be the type for MEEKNESS
Born the year of the SHEEP under the sign of the RAM
You can hate me or love me, but I who I AM

Who Made Whom?

Lean closer, dear friend, my secret to hear.
Speak softly, Mr. Know-it-all is near.
I am unsettled by his depiction -
a poetic character of fiction.
It is I who created that sad man,
not so believable, but I did try.
Admittedly, he's poorly drawn, that guy.
When he cares, he acts like he doesn't.
If he says his heart's in it, it wasn't.
You'll soon forget him. He will disappear.
So depend on me. I'll always be here.

Late Bloomer

Missing a glimpse of her
Was just as bad as being late.
My feeling flown all over the place.
The punctuality of being at the exact place at the right time.
Missing this glance everything falls out of place.
The sudden challenge of tomorrow.
Being on time, this moment left behind.
Admittedly I hurried the next moment.
To miss the same glance.
My feelings all over the place.
To think, flowers are never as late as they seem

Dogs Barking

~and what kind of crazy chaos is this again~

Dogs are barking to the wind
howling crazy songs to a Siren...
Admittedly this pauses my pen
while I write my creations lore,
straining to hear at the top of
their call...

My own brain.

"Repair.A.Metics"

I understand. The Siren sings
to clear the land in their way
Urging life along they play
to Save the Day.

Dogs barking aid the clearing and I
pause for something worth hearing.

A Change of Heart

A drop of water fell on me
not one, but two, then three...

Ready to curse the skies and Thee
    in barehead selfishness, admittedly

When a blade of grass came up to me
    with his heartfelt, poignant plea

  'Without water, Sir, you see
I simply no longer will be'

My eyelids wet, but not from rain
I put him down on my lawn again

Lifted my hands, my palms spread wide
'Let the heavens gush forth,' my joyful cry

Dear You

Dear you,
yes, you!
Admittedly
you've shaken my serenity
even challenged my equanimity.

Dear you,
yes, you!
Gradually
dragged me into your life's acerbity
fooled by that fabricated story.

Dear you,
yes, you!
Inevitably
to the quick im sliced
overt rudeness I've aganized.

Dear you,
yes, you!
Ironically
felt my heart's truly grateful,
in no darn way be in that sphere so boorish full.

Divinely Flawed

I don’t need thunder
to feel the rumble,
nor lightning
to sense storm’s flash

nor icons to tear
nor statues to bleed
to realize within all
creation, God’s sacred
omnipotent cache --

Yet, while in the smallest
unlimited vastness –

and in the deepest fathomless
depth --

admittedly, all by grace of Almighty
God,

little joy would remain for me
in life I am certain, if denied

here and above

our simple
very flawed
expressions of
human love….
