Divinely Flawed

I don’t need thunder
to feel the rumble,
nor lightning
to sense storm’s flash

nor icons to tear
nor statues to bleed
to realize within all
creation, God’s sacred
omnipotent cache --

Yet, while in the smallest
unlimited vastness –

and in the deepest fathomless
depth --

admittedly, all by grace of Almighty
God,

little joy would remain for me
in life I am certain, if denied

here and above

our simple
very flawed
expressions of
human love….

Heartwarming isn't a strong enough word to describe the warm spirituality within your words. Eternal hope blossoms in the verse.

Simply Beautiful, Joe. EXCLAMATION POINTS. A FAVE. S/h/b POTD,... esp. instead of Arthur Vaso's latest trash. Abominable, that. ~ gw

Just read it...deeply flawed distortion of truth. Don't blame you for being upset. Trash.

This is the best of your recent poems that I have read. Yes, we need not have any thunderous manifestations to believe that there is a God. In the simple things of everyday life, we feel the presence of God. If we can't give some love to others, may be flawed and never perfect, there would be no joy in our lives. Into my FAVE.

Here is frailty and power addressed well Joe Dimino..' Oh where oh where are the Wise men.? The philosphers of this age?? That they might reason together.)

Purposely dumbed down by powers that be. Sad. Thank you, Joe.

We are human. We feel right and wrong, yet we must pray for love.

- Inside each of us there is a deep knowing, Joe :) - (Some call it divine connection, a sixth sense or intuition) ... the most important skill is love :) - A great poem :) - hugs
