The ocean meets her match

lips entwined

Obnoxious divisions to which I must adhere

The hard blueish pebbles beneath my feet make the stony trek to the ocean a dangerous undertaking. Barnacles adhere to stones, slicing at passing feet. Past the stony beach the sand awaits. Beyond sand... the sea, blue.

Near you I forgot it all;
‘Adhere to your rules.’ I say;
Clear out all the confusion,
steer hard you’re going astray;

Tonight you feel like a magnet
despite what I know is true;
Right never comes from left field,
might not matter, all I want is you.

To think of death for some, strikes fear
The end of life we soon must adhere

To think of the pain death can inflict
The dead die into peace while the living contradict

To think of the darkness death may bestow
Only when we die will we really ever know

No one to adhere
Ice cream from ear to ear

Licking up and down
Without so much as a frown

Like a boy so boisterous
Oh that creamy goodness
