Beach of Blue

The hard blueish pebbles beneath my feet make the stony trek to the ocean a dangerous undertaking. Barnacles adhere to stones, slicing at passing feet. Past the stony beach the sand awaits. Beyond sand... the sea, blue.

I can feel those rough pebbles on my feet just as I read this wonderful poem. Nice when the sand in smooth but as we know most are more rocky than sandy. Love the image this portrays. love phyl

nice write Francine, tis the time of year in most places to reflect on the good times by the shore. There is something about it where one word takes you there, here we have many images and cautions of walking on the beach
