Their wastes were all compostables;
Would return to the earth one day.

Fish fertilizer fed their crops,
No additives in their food.
Nature was pharmacy, grocer and home.

Are like poetic additives
That rearrange raw rhythmic rhyme
So sonnets sound more-so sublime.

“Aggrieved aggressors,” “Angry Aunts”
“Outraged oppressors,” “Haunted haunts”
Are all alliterative bits
That prod poor poems into hits.

Consider how this very verse
Without alliteration would be worse.
For con-sequential consonants
Create quaint quotes of consequence....

As red as love
Since additives have been used in feelings
Globalization has changed a lot of things
Hate is green, love is red and tolerance has bled
A day for love, another for water, and a third for bread
Days are couloured but the world is black.
Stars are bright but, skies are dark.
Torture and sufferings are endless.
Diseases, wars, hunger and stress.
Our kids dream of joy and happiness
Too much talk but, little action is meaningless....

You have the right to remain silent
 but most of us never do,
we all have an opinion, 
 fact fake news or fiction
giving some of our wisdom to impart
 knowing it doesn't always come from the heart,
we interpret what we think is said
 and our mouths forge quickly ahead,
without thought or contemplation
 additives upon our interpretation,
we fail to gather facts
 and speak openly with little tact,
until someone finally calls our bluff
 let's look a little deeper at all this stuff....
