Premium Member Peruvian Quipu

Ancient Peruvians used the quipu
To record events for more than a few.
Cord with knotted string
Messages to bring
Future accounting for me and for you.

Accounting

On lotus leaf
a frog sits meditating-
the parenthood.

Fetal coaxing,
was on trial. Will you
come to witness ?

A premature
death of a dream. Who
was responsible ?

When Jesus Turned

When Jesus turned water to wine
it tasted modestly divine
there was no witnessed waste
but there's no accounting for taste
pharisee spirit's complain all the time

Yahya Sinwar, what's in his name
The sin and war that account for his 'fame'

Any decent man these traits would shame ~
Yahya makes them his life's sole aim

The Accountant

She works in accounting at the factory,
loves counting numbers and her salary,
she has it made,
till she got weighed,
obviously hates counting calories.

Premium Member Accounting for Pickleball

It seems ‘Pickleball’ has swept the nation
Folks play after work and on vacation

          Fav’rite pre-game drills
          Eating kosher dills

      Accounting for their in-FAT-u-a-tion

Premium Member Adhesives

There’s no accounting for taste
I suppose that’s why children eat paste.
Smell is involved in it too;
Perhaps they grow up and sniff glue?
I won’t rush to judgment in haste,
Because pasta sure sticks to my waist.

May America and Israel forever be free
    from sea to shining sea

And should either country find itself drowning
in an ocean of jackboots and hate
May there be a reckoning and accounting

Garage sales are for those with it all I concede But can't resist paying a dollar for stuff they don't need Strange way of thinking Maybe too much drinking There's just no accounting for some peoples' greed

Not To Reason Why

Accounting
for madness
A conflict
in terms

The devils
own details
In secrets
unlearned

What stays
ill conflicted
Stays
misunderstood

No rhyme
and no reason
When bad
— trumps the good

Every Accounting For Taste

It is official,
Those who count voted,
Boysenberry Ripple Ice cream,
Made by tip top of NZ,
Is the best ice cream in NZ,
And possibly on the planet.

It also happens to be my favourite,
By a country Mile,
And I can't wait to tell my family,
Who think that I should be embracing salted caramel,
Really.

Accounting

trying to
sleep counting
the proverbial fence
leaping endless rainbow

of sheep
passing time
tiredly trying to
induce slumber but

notice
as each
ovine leaps
the next has less

wool then
the one before
so forgetting about
REM now i need see

for sure
how nakedly
shorn if there is
a last one will be

Premium Member Adam & Eve Inventory Accountants

Adam was an
acceptable accountant
And Eve a bubblingly
bright bookkeeper;
Adam loved the
First-In, First-Out
Accounting (FIFO) system,
While Eve preferred
The Last-In, First-Out
Inventory (LIFO) system;
Together they testified that
Inventoried sweet fruit
should neither
Sits and spoil
nor go to the
Garden wastebasket
Wrongfully.

R I P

God is dead but no one knows
as they continue their ridiculous shows.
Everyone wants a piece of Him
but always deny him with each whim.
We kill and dishonor in His name
and the game always remains the same.
Money, power and subjugation
fuels the Godless in every nation.
One day there will be a full accounting
for on every evil the devil is counting.

To Whom It May Concern

Man surely she studied accounting,
for she knew how to use what she had to get what she wanted.
she started and sold herself to men who did not
give a damn about her demands.
 As an eye witness,
I witnessed,
when she called herself MRS!
Not recognizing that the mess is....
Dating multiple men made her more of a ****
than a lady she was supposed to be....

Premium Member Winslow

Two men walk down a dusty street
in Winslow, Arizona.
One places small white crosses
at the curb and recites names
while the other bears witness:

"Juan Fernando Lopez”
“Presente!”
“Maria Anna Ramos”
“Presente!”
“Jose Angel Fernandez”
“Presente!”
“Restos mortales” (Mortal remains)
“Presente!”

This continues until
that day’s accounting
of bodies found in the desert
is complete.

Toxic

The traffic of life's busy inventories
restrains this need for solace--
how the accounting of hours untamed
induces an onslaught to my self-care;

how much longer must I invest on time
which steals the leisure of hearts' meeting,
the thrill of flowers in bloom?--
if so, can toxic moments be measured
by all demands of the day
when in the end, nothing really mattered.

Introducing Mark Toney
The real McCoy, not phony
Works hard on accounting and income taxes
Writes poetry and prose as he relaxes

Mark fancied himself a tax expert
Cool pocket protector on his shirt
Touting tax tips he tried
Till terribly tongue-tied
Nevermore will he overexert

Hundreds flocking to Mark’s door
What does tax time have in store?
Mixed reactions to Mark’s beckoning
As they face their day of reckoning

Afterlife Accounting

Work for your world,
But don't forget your afterlife,
No one knows today if we are together,
For tomorrow is not certain
Let's pray for every moment
After we're tired all day with our work
Life is not worth for keeping
Our life is a borrowed life
Someone above us is the rightful owner
When the time of accounting comes
We are free of giving our litanies
Not gnashing of teeth in the corner
But coming out the Great Court as victor.

High Finance

Who controls our banking?
Ruinous fees for money lending.
Who questions their investing?
Why so dear for money lending?
Who does profit from accounting?
Our finances they're controlling,
While our economy they're ruining,
They're amassing fortunes pecuniary,
Big business for them, commercially.
Let's questions their accountability
For our faceless Australian economy,
Profits overseas they're sending---
So much for Australian banking!!!!!!
