Every mind is painted on a separate canvas
Lines brushed to give edge to their scenes
With a multitude of colors peppered around
Bordered by abstruse and diverted memories
A holy man's head was lost in the clouds

Abstruse art, bewildered mind
Mellifluous is its name,
August and worthy of its fame,
Romantic and idyllic all the same,
Refulgent and bright in the myopic’s eye,
Abstruse to the ignorant mind,
Keen to the witty’s wit.
Ebullient in the face of melancholy
Classic during the day, but
Habitable and hospitable in a humble way.
Gossamer adorned
Knotted love-laced bows
Neatly wrapped and scorned
Words carefully chose.
We dance this refrain
Dream-like sleep induced
Guided quick to fain
Promises seduce.
Pages rip transformed
Immortalized prose
Lover’s dreams performed
Reconcile compose.
Beyond broke to strain
Disguised truth abstruse
Blend until disdain
Kismet love reduced
Ripples in time .
Echoes ride the pinnacles of undulating ripples
- across that something, that once was so clear –
across the reflective, mirrored surface of time.
As they travel towards the abstruse shores of reality,
they begin to disintegrate, fade into the mysterious depths
of what will surly become, what creates the here and now.

The wide stretch,
dry and sterile
lay vast
before our eyes.
In the moonlit night,
it glowed white.
We felt,
as if lost,
in a
land abstruse.
Fury masked
before us so calm!
Here's an uncanny song
heard,
only in silence!

Somber grey,true dismay
Abstruse plight,day is night
Assailants might,no armistice
Goth
Abatoirs full of disgorge
A world depraved,a blackish haze
Ignominous calamity
Goth
Fathomless,the abyss
Callosity,the damned to be
Feinous atrocities

Evil adulation,whole affectation
Amoral fixation,mind controlled nations
Robotic existence,lost in decadence

Latin is abstruse whilst the learning battle ceased
Though as theorist thinkers, found a language lost,
Opaque it all may seem, but it’s merely just a dream
Then I’ll circumvent some adumbrate at least.
Impetuous the urge I ask to detail verse for you-
Meticulous does Latin sound, incredibly romantic,
As old as it may be, its sight is not pedantic
It's feature full with feculence, but understood by few.
Introspective, and charmingly coy,
her shyness enchanted my heart;
she wandered along in her own private world
quite unwilling to ration a part
of her intricate mind full of poems
and novels abstruse and arcane,
they would challenge a D.Phil from Oxford
their mangled motifs to explain.
Then I discovered her Achilles heel,
the way to steal one little kiss;
it was Rilke, he was the key to her soul,
'rigor mortis' to absolute bliss!
While craving for meaning, he stokes
the ember,
fans the flame of urgent, artistic madness
for order;
but the mind sinks into the quagmire
of the abstruse,
and all that is left of poetic sense is deadened
at the dead end.

How often
I do just that
Splitting hairs to enter
Another dimension
Leaving me both here
And there, driving the streets
Of abstract convention
Where traffic lights are blue
And the tomorrows are
No longer new and are known
For abstruse pretention
Everyone seems to know my name
When they think they see me in
This other form
And then I’m gone again
In the split of a thoughts
Distension
In the depths of the abstruse pages
A quill transcribes fathomless thought
Feathered ideas guilelessly tethered to
Existence with a black ink onslaught
The same plume that once lifted its own maker
To heights undreamed of on the ground
Disembogues reflections of speculations
On white pages that are now confound
A blank slate now full of words
From those who have come before
leaves us to cipher fact from fiction

in the same breath,
sensibly abstruse and uninhibited
elusively in your face,
introspective in her extroversion
expressly shy when she wills to be,
rapture in the mist
an enigma unto man
a force to be reckoned
he couldn't possibly envisage,
don't try to comprehend the
wind 'neath her wings,
she's poetry replete
with esoteric allusions
Scrub your mind and make webs your harp,
Pluck them with your ivory fingers, they smart;
Raindrops from the ribbons of blue,sparkle the day,
Melody unmuffled, birds tuned in, take heart.
Pain drenched in rain, turns sedate, only harp
A queen's treasured bait for the abstruse lovers;
I am your angel you can say with pride,
As golden harp, the woven fate, uncovers.

Abstruse this aura of fear.
Envisioned darkness lurking near.
Ignorant to perceive what you hear.
Detached from feelings lost and unclear.
Allured by a spirit's whispers I hear.
Heed this murmur obscurity will clear.
Emerge from this somber despite the fear.
For death deceives those it draws near.
Remembrances absent in solitude for years.
Human ignorance, not god, brought forth these fears.
Our creator's proverbs must be made clear.
Human divergence ought not we fear.
