Desert
The wide stretch,
dry and sterile
lay vast
before our eyes.
In the moonlit night,
it glowed white.
We felt,
as if lost,
in a
land abstruse.
Fury masked
before us so calm!
Here's an uncanny song
heard,
only in silence!
