Disease intent on
Destroying our family,
It slowly
Created a chasm
Too large to amend;
Irreparable
On all accounts,
Never finding complete absolution

Pain and Rain
On a wet, spring day
Branches drip loneliness.
Sunbeams stream gentleness
Pain and rain stain the soul.
Distance separates.
Ablutions wash winter's grime.

My thoughts are illusions.
A life of delusion.

admit
that it’s true
we can deny
but it goes nowhere
and leads us back to truth
typos are a part of life
those misspelled words by accident
hound and haunt us to our dying days
we only hope to find absolution
