you see every flaw
each of my pained transgressions
you are still with me

through life's displeasure
your indifference breaks me
absolution heals

imperfect union
overlook the little things
we try to survive

There is an elegance to your words, very honest, very intimately felt. Forgiveness really is acceptance..of what is.. as is..right now. We write from personal experience and emotions. Quite often the stories are fictitious (only the writer knows for sure), but the emotions always come through. Hi Lynn, thank you for your always insightful comment.
