You have to be super quiet Timmy whispered to Mac
Mac scrunched down, and sighed loud in his back
Resting away as they hit every clickety clickety clack.

Shh! Babies are sleeping Dorie said.
Slumbering in dreamland with her Uncle Fred
Tummies full of dolly potatoes, they are amply fed
Especially after gulping down cinnamon bread

Two dreaming of a trip on an African bobsled
Cozily cuddled up in a rocking chair bed.

I remember so clearly a day
                   when Mommy made it go away
When every hurt and every pain
       with just her tender touch, would wane

When sting of bitter snow filled chill
 

Shh Mama Is Painting Today

My rooms are a wreck, total disarray.
I have clothes that don’t fit – some other day.
My garage has critters, mice of course.
I am painting today – a giant pink and orange horse.

I have three junk drawers in my shamble of a kitchen.

Shh, Speak Shrouded Sounds Slower

Shh, surrender silent sorrows.
Subconsciously slip into stillness, 
sedately surrounded in serenity's song.
Slumber satisfied, slithering softly between 
silky soap scented sanitized sheets. 
Soak up summaries of summers spent splashing at 
seashores, sandles sifting through salt scented sand, 
as sapphire skies shine splendidly.
Scores of silver seagulls soar stunningly 
above saltwater seaweed scenery.
