THE ULTIMATE NATURE OF WAR

Sown love reaps world peace,
While sown hate will reap world war:
Power its sower:-
Sharers of love will sow peace:
Profiteers of war, sow hate:-

World peace uprooted,
War’s deforestation plows
World devastation:-
Armageddon coming:
God plowing us a new day:-

Be ever mindful,
War is a power monger’s
Child of destruction;
And will be chastised by God:
Its navel giver uprooted:-

Premium MemberUp Close with Strangers

plane, bus 'n train
elevators 'n escalators
revelers 'n sale-day crowds
is where we meet
STRANGERS!
looking away,
with no eye-to-eye contact
no nod, wink, grunt of 'Hi's',
never ever recognizing
the sharers of the commons
shoved together
withdrawn incognito.

Here for thee be :
The Ten Commandments of Crowd Etiquette
Thou Shalt Honor Thy and Their Personal Bubbles
Thou Shalt Not Partake in Olfactory Betrayal
Thou Shalt Not Greet Strangers with a Nod, Only with Indifferent Defiance
Thou Shalt Yield Thy Seat only to the Ill, with-Child, Frail, Aged & the Lovely
Thou Shalt Stand Thy Ground, Letting Others Squeeze Pass Reluctantly
Thou Shalt Not Covet Another’s Seat or Space
Thou Shalt Keep Thine Phone Silent at Thine Side, and Do Not Speak
Thou Shalt Bear No Grudges for Shoves, Humphs & Grunts in Tight Spaces
Thou Shalt Honor all Queues, Despite their Length and Thy Lateness
Thou Shalt Yen the Zen of Strangers in Common Humanity

Premium MemberHEART PUZZLE

I think of the heart as a never-ending puzzle…
a kind of puzzle in reverse.
where pieces of other people’s hearts can be added to ours…
and where pieces of our heart to others can be dispersed.

Every heart comes with a little mystery…
because as each day we grow
exactly who we’ll share our pieces with…
is something we don’t know.

Love has the final decision on the pieces we choose to share…
deciding who I give a piece of my heart to…
and who gives me a piece of theirs.

When love works her magic, however, both sharers will admit….
somehow…the pieces shared between them…are a perfect fit.

And whether the wait to share a piece of our heart is short…
or if it takes a little longer….
when pieces are shared with love…
each heart grows a little stronger.

I wonder if that’s why when we lose someone we love…
oftentimes what happiness we find.
is knowing they took a piece of our heart with them…
and left a piece of theirs behind.

Perhaps the most comfort we can take…
when someone we love departs….
is knowing a person never truly dies
as long as we have a piece of their heart.

Premium MemberLacust a Queen Bee

a soft humming sound filled the kitchen with pure good
workers were bringing in their loot in the middle of the hood
their offspring were learning to be sharers, not takers
the pot was filling up nicely with honeycomb by ardent makers

the queen sat on her throne, listening to the humming drones
she loved this feeling of superiority, as she wrote her glory poems
why does she get to sit? one small bee complained to his dad.
Shhh! The worker bee said sternly, not wanting her to feel bad.

the queen was oblivious, writing away on her beachfront missive.
A diva of royal breeding, these workers were invisible and dismissive.
Her feelings were all about herself, which means her novel was a bust.
She never gave the workers any credit at all, this stuck-up Queen LaCust.

Torchbearers

The Moon and stars are celestial sharers
Illuminating the skies as faithful torchbearers
Luna trades places with the sun, who sleeps
until the morrow when o'er earth it sweeps

How patient they are to wait for their turn
Moonlight's soft glow and sun's fire to burn
Their discharged light required by the clime
Each fulfilling the need in their space and time

Back and forth in passing, they rise and recline
Each casting shadows, though they never align
In orbit, we watch them in the Heavens above
Incentive for poets to write of warmth and love.

Premium MemberOn Judging

Sonnets, epics, narratives, blank verses...
All have their meter, music, and rhythm sure;
Haikus, senryu, tankas, lymericks...
What style is great? Who, ever, can measure?

I might say my story in a sonnet,
You might illustrate it through an epic;
Any form could be just a car bonnet,
Wherein the engine should seldom fall sick...

Every composer of work has a plan,
As a well-wisher I can contribute;
Well-given suggestions are well-taken,
Each art to The Master we attribute

Criticism is another gift-sharing;
Sharers need to be loving and caring.

Premium MemberBarrier Smears

I never wanted any barriers,
or dark taintings with thick smears,
but all have been close sharers
                              to work themselves adhered.

So secure was our heart clasp,
I was sure our bond would last.
  Joyous years grew me love-secure.
Now days are made of hours
    when I completely flounder.
I try to find my bearings which
      seemingly collapsed or disappeared.
       I miss our ordinary moments,
        their simplicity so complete
that I had all the elements
          sustaining all I could need.

Time still dwells with you here.
I well recognize your features,
but not your words or actions
that clip my heart like scissors
into fractions of abrasion hurts.
These days allow me nowhere to turn.
I search out cures for your dour form
dragging love down course to burn.
How I long to remedy love concerns
but layers of my ache merely squirm
as I view our love thrashing infirm.

Premium MemberKeyboarded Fingers

Morning filled with conversations
in my headsetted ringing ears
under keyboarded fingers
across the ocean
next door

I want to drink wine with you
read Walt Whitman with you
sleep in your arms
publish with you
dream

Coffee for me, with sleep drunk eyes
you horrible insomniacs
you funny inspirational
sharers of poetry and
friendship

I sit down with you, to beat loneliness
keep it at bay, at distance
I reach my hand to
you all with tears
of love

Premium MemberRevelation of Eternal God

Eternal God’s will
That men have access to Eternal Father
Through Father Christ
The Word made flesh
In the Eternal Holy Spirit
Become sharers in the divine nature

Eternal God dwells in unapproachable light
Wants to communicate His own divine light
In His only begotten Son
By revealing Himself
Eternal God wishes to make them capable
Of Responding to Him
Of knowing Him
Of loving Him far beyond
Their own natural capacity

The Divine plan of Revelation
Realized simultaneously
By deeds
And Words
Which are essentially
Bound with each other
Eternal God shed light in each other
Eternal God communicates Himself to man gradually
Prepares him to welcome
Stages of Sipernatrural Revelation
That culminate in the person
Mission of the Icarnate Word, Jesus Christ

The Word of Eternal God dwelt in man
Became the Son of man
In order accustom man
To perceive Eternal God
Accustom Eternal God to dwell in man
According to the Eternal Father’s pleasure

Craving Blindness

She says I'm perfect
to some degree.
Doesn't really sound
like me.

Too much symbolism
gonna give me an embolism
Or something similarly severe.
Ain't it clear exactly how
badly I need a beer?

I stumbled up here from the rear.
Lemme tell ya:
it's pretty fair back there.
But, these damned sharers
of air have proven to be
quite the snare.

Punish them or wilt in
comfortable obscurity?
Doesn't really sound
like me.

Premium MemberHearing From Mates, Moment Sharers, Companions In a Hallway

HEARING FROM MATES, MOMENT SHARERS, COMPANIONS IN A
DIFFERANT PART OF THE HALLWAY

The clouds remind me
Of the thoughts that sprang between us,
Some puffed like dandelion balls
Ready to be blown
        and drift,
Broccoli headed breathers amid
The streaming locks on an Ancient.
Like the ribs of a leaf
       left bare from decay
Or furry as moth antenna.

A swan-like image
     and winged horses
Rode on areas blue,
The swan into a buck did turn
The horse to a sheep,
Then the sun started to set
And I had thoughts of sleep.

Big Heart

My massive heart
Expanding my chest
Large enough to accommodate God
Yet enough room for the rest

Love, kindness and compassion
Are co-sharers
Desires, lust and greed
Are unwelcome indeed
Prejudice, hatred and jealousy
Sometimes gatecrash
My security arrangements are frail
I often cry and wail

How to get rid of trash?
That gathers against my wish
How to clean the impurities
 And viruses quarantine
How to make it shine

I’ll be strong and tough
If I win your love
From you I need strength
To clean its width and length
And unwanted to flush
