Torchbearers

The Moon and stars are celestial sharers Illuminating the skies as faithful torchbearers Luna trades places with the sun, who sleeps until the morrow when o'er earth it sweeps How patient they are to wait for their turn Moonlight's soft glow and sun's fire to burn Their discharged light required by the clime Each fulfilling the need in their space and time Back and forth in passing, they rise and recline Each casting shadows, though they never align In orbit, we watch them in the Heavens above Incentive for poets to write of warmth and love.

Always a great inspiration for artists and poets alike Jenna. I never cease to be amazed by the sky, both night and day both have gifts to offer. Tom

For sure, all light our inspiration. Even of dark, we glisten, to reveal. It is the poet's nature...our heart's abundance overflowing. Excellent write!

Nice imagery and a very smooth read. I especially liked the reference to hevenly light that helps poets write, Jenna Love the image above the words. Bill
