Premium Member Keyboarded Fingers

Morning filled with conversations
in my headsetted ringing ears
under keyboarded fingers
across the ocean
next door

I want to drink wine with you
read Walt Whitman with you
sleep in your arms
publish with you
dream

Coffee for me, with sleep drunk eyes
you horrible insomniacs
you funny inspirational
sharers of poetry and
friendship

I sit down with you, to beat loneliness
keep it at bay, at distance
I reach my hand to
you all with tears
of love

Premium Member Barrier Smears

I never wanted any barriers,
or dark taintings with thick smears,
but all have been close sharers
                              to work themselves adhered.

So secure was our heart clasp,
I was sure our bond would last.
  Joyous years grew me love-secure.
Now days are made of hours
    when I completely flounder.
I try to find my bearings which
      seemingly collapsed or disappeared.
       I miss our ordinary moments,
        their simplicity so complete
that I had all the elements
          sustaining all I could need.

Time still dwells with you here.
I well recognize your features,
but not your words or actions
that clip my heart like scissors
into fractions of abrasion hurts.
These days allow me nowhere to turn.
I search out cures for your dour form
dragging love down course to burn.
How I long to remedy love concerns
but layers of my ache merely squirm
as I view our love thrashing infirm.

Big Heart

My massive heart
Expanding my chest
Large enough to accommodate God
Yet enough room for the rest

Love, kindness and compassion
Are co-sharers
Desires, lust and greed
Are unwelcome indeed
Prejudice, hatred and jealousy
Sometimes gatecrash
My security arrangements are frail
I often cry and wail

How to get rid of trash?
That gathers against my wish
How to clean the impurities
 And viruses quarantine
How to make it shine

I’ll be strong and tough
If I win your love
From you I need strength
To clean its width and length
And unwanted to flush

Premium Member Revelation of Eternal God

Eternal God’s will
That men have access to Eternal Father
Through Father Christ
The Word made flesh
In the Eternal Holy Spirit
Become sharers in the divine nature

Eternal God dwells in unapproachable light
Wants to communicate His own divine light
In His only begotten Son
By revealing Himself
Eternal God wishes to make them capable
Of Responding to Him
Of knowing Him
Of loving Him far beyond
Their own natural capacity

The Divine plan of Revelation
Realized simultaneously
By deeds
And Words
Which are essentially
Bound with each other
Eternal God shed light in each other
Eternal God communicates Himself to man gradually
Prepares him to welcome
Stages of Sipernatrural Revelation
That culminate in the person
Mission of the Icarnate Word, Jesus Christ

The Word of Eternal God dwelt in man
Became the Son of man
In order accustom man
To perceive Eternal God
Accustom Eternal God to dwell in man
According to the Eternal Father’s pleasure

Premium Member Poets' Pursuits Beyond Writing

Abounding in seemingly infinite activities for actualization
Bards are we, bestowed with busyness beyond poetry writing’s best
Chores of caring await like being coaches, cheerers, counselors
Duty-bound, we can do these or that and such with diligence…

Earnest in our roles as parents and family members, ever-endearing
Fulfilling entrusted assignments along faithfulness fortitude
Guards, governors, guides … glowing in goodness
Helping, healing, hoisting hearts upon hope’s herald…

Influencing against impossibility’s impact
Joy-sharers while journeying with jubilation
Kindness’ sowers, as well as instructors of knowledge
Loving, leading, learning along the light…

Managers, merchandisers, or ministers
Nourishing talents and gifts, knocking off negligence
Open to development opportunities
Planting, praying, pursuing toward prosperity
Quitting not to live in contentment’s quietude…

Reconciliators or reconcilers, rejoicing for relationship restoration
Singers or perhaps speech makers, truth --- spreading
Triumphantly testifying with thanksgiving*
Upholders of righteousness in our undertakings
Voicing out vigilantly against violence…

Worshipers while watchers of grand children (soon) ... wisely
Xylophone players maybe, while basking under bliss of xanadu
Yearning for yields with strength of youthfulness
Zealously we zoom to accomplish much midst passionate zest.

*2Corinthians 9:11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Premium Member Saturation Mimics Satisfaction

Initialising silhouettes submit to midwinter dawn
Beginning willingly to swallow colour of choices
Fledgelings' flamboyant campaigns display oblivion

Audacious adolescents distribute chafing thoughts
Attach entire esteem to securing peer approval
Frivolous get transfixed in youth's lurid allure

Bustling balloons launch from high vaulting hearts
Adventurers revel in joy during jaunty occasions
Concerned observers avoid havoc's banquet

Money cascades proportionate to patrons' appraise
Circumspect travel with kaleidoscope analysis
Attentively pensive address torrid scheduling

Pallid consideration accompanies shaded misers
Assorted sections bolstered by merciful sharers
Principled accord favoured by fate's ultimation

Aura of agitation promotes copious desires
Hushed heeders find freedom in relinquishing
Dilating ease determines to exit temptation

Plethora of pleasures pledged by reoccurring sunrise
Replenished spirit operates as a doting shepherd
Validates delight in desiphered silence

Supreme reckoning denounces pretentious credentials
Clarity invades tainted captivity's insatiable tirade
Mortal manuscript mirrors sequel's assembling

Torchbearers

The Moon and stars are celestial sharers
Illuminating the skies as faithful torchbearers
Luna trades places with the sun, who sleeps
until the morrow when o'er earth it sweeps

How patient they are to wait for their turn
Moonlight's soft glow and sun's fire to burn
Their discharged light required by the clime
Each fulfilling the need in their space and time

Back and forth in passing, they rise and recline
Each casting shadows, though they never align
In orbit, we watch them in the Heavens above
Incentive for poets to write of warmth and love.

HEARING FROM MATES, MOMENT SHARERS, COMPANIONS IN A
DIFFERANT PART OF THE HALLWAY

The clouds remind me
Of the thoughts that sprang between us,
Some puffed like dandelion balls
Ready to be blown
        and drift,
Broccoli headed breathers amid
The streaming locks on an Ancient.
Like the ribs of a leaf
       left bare from decay
Or furry as moth antenna.

A swan-like image
     and winged horses
Rode on areas blue,
The swan into a buck did turn
The horse to a sheep,
Then the sun started to set
And I had thoughts of sleep.

Craving Blindness

She says I'm perfect
to some degree.
Doesn't really sound
like me.

Too much symbolism
gonna give me an embolism
Or something similarly severe.
Ain't it clear exactly how
badly I need a beer?

I stumbled up here from the rear.
Lemme tell ya:
it's pretty fair back there.
But, these damned sharers
of air have proven to be
quite the snare.

Punish them or wilt in
comfortable obscurity?
Doesn't really sound
like me.

Premium Member On Judging

Sonnets, epics, narratives, blank verses...
All have their meter, music, and rhythm sure;
Haikus, senryu, tankas, lymericks...
What style is great? Who, ever, can measure?

I might say my story in a sonnet,
You might illustrate it through an epic;
Any form could be just a car bonnet,
Wherein the engine should seldom fall sick...

Every composer of work has a plan,
As a well-wisher I can contribute;
Well-given suggestions are well-taken,
Each art to The Master we attribute

Criticism is another gift-sharing;
Sharers need to be loving and caring.

Hymn: Holding Real Hope

To God we offer thanks
     for medicine and for carers,
for all who've kept in touch,
     in prayer been burden sharers.
Through all the skills and gifts
by which you set us free
     from scourges of disease
     may we now thankful be.

     In grief we still lament
     the cost of many losses
in life and work and health,
     with bearing all these crosses.
     Not destitute of hope
in you our God we trust
as guide through days to come
     in new life to adjust.

All praise to God of all
with whom we share this planet.
May we be one with them,
     respecting every limit.
     Each insect, beast or bird
     from which disease derives –
     we must respect their space
that we and they may thrive.

     Dear Jesus you've been here
     through times of isolation,
in us to hold real hope,
     restoring motivation.
     Then arms outstretched once more,
     set free from all regrets,
     we'll open wide the door
     to welcome back our guests.

     We meet again in joy
     refreshed upon our journey.
As we move on from here
with Christ who shows us mercy,
there's much that we can learn
as we survive the test –
     in prayer we can discern
     how care is best expressed.

Premium Member Mixed Metaphors

Trump’s not “great,” he IS fat, his morality’s more like a doormat
To Satan than ‘shining’ example of ‘City on Hilltop!’
His base ‘chokes’ on swill that he feeds them, his fascist black ‘Colors’
Would crucify freedom! “Fake News” is called ‘fact’ from “Hate’s Pews!”
Base prefers ‘rape to sacrifice,’ ‘man’s truth’ to mercy, a racist’s ‘sop’
Over responsible living! ‘Base’ steal ‘what poor have’ from their brothers.

Do rich gain more by axes (a harvest of sweat-felled trees), taxes
Avoided by skewing all law in wealth’s favor, deception
More ‘Rule’ than ‘Exception?’ Can Government serve those it’s cheating?
Should wealth be a privilege earned or the cross of those burned
By the bribes of ‘sin’s favored’ found greasing the courts as more rapist’s come?
Voting rights, virtue, the faith of our father’s, their blood, love’s ‘short-sheeting?’

I may doubt ‘Speech’ of sharers, lie too if I label them “Liars!”
Untruth’s not a lie that a speaker repeats with no malice,
All judgment's perverse that my truth IS God’s truth! Does man grok ‘TRUTH’
Or God! Most folks do what we do (which the later they rue!)
It’s in ‘Faith’ we love God, share Lord’s Supper, though childlike and powerless,
Knowing we’re slaves to our egos, to pride, to our health, and deceived youth!

Earth’s diversity tapped ‘Big Bang’s’ love? You’ve divined God’s Truth needs shove
Perhaps? Might a singular Truth be too big for a mortal,
(An infinite depth to it) maybe a portal to God’s smile?
Might all of Man’s Truth be food Christ grokked at birth? Am I rude?
God! You’re Twit! How can God not be God fool? Does man’s birth seem digital?
‘Best’ explanation is clear! God’s ‘I AM’ Sir, not Jew Sir or Gentile!

Premium Member HEART PUZZLE

I think of the heart as a never-ending puzzle…
a kind of puzzle in reverse.
where pieces of other people’s hearts can be added to ours…
and where pieces of our heart to others can be dispersed.

Every heart comes with a little mystery…
because as each day we grow
exactly who we’ll share our pieces with…
is something we don’t know.

Love has the final decision on the pieces we choose to share…
deciding who I give a piece of my heart to…
and who gives me a piece of theirs.

When love works her magic, however, both sharers will admit….
somehow…the pieces shared between them…are a perfect fit.

And whether the wait to share a piece of our heart is short…
or if it takes a little longer….
when pieces are shared with love…
each heart grows a little stronger.

I wonder if that’s why when we lose someone we love…
oftentimes what happiness we find.
is knowing they took a piece of our heart with them…
and left a piece of theirs behind.

Perhaps the most comfort we can take…
when someone we love departs….
is knowing a person never truly dies
as long as we have a piece of their heart.
