For my early morning/late night online Skype and PoetryChat friends, and for my boyfriend :)

Morning filled with conversations in my headsetted ringing ears under keyboarded fingers across the ocean next door I want to drink wine with you read Walt Whitman with you sleep in your arms publish with you dream Coffee for me, with sleep drunk eyes you horrible insomniacs you funny inspirational sharers of poetry and friendship I sit down with you, to beat loneliness keep it at bay, at distance I reach my hand to you all with tears of love *** March 18, 2017 Copyright © Darren White

I like how the shape of your formatting draws the eye onward to continue...beckoning. A deft choice to center it so and to arrange your line breaks to craft visual arrows. In poetry, the form should reflect the content and your content of beckoning is perfectly suited here. Bravo!

Thank you, Lynn. And yes, the people who think that you cannot form close friendships through the Internet, is so completely wrong!

and grasp it, we do! Beautiful and touching sentiment, Darren - I just loved reading it! Isn't it great how in mass we all crossed the ocean via the internet? So many doors and hearts have opened as a result. love ya, CayCay

The sleepless nights are more comforting with a friend a keystroke away.

Good Morning Darren. Oh the keyboard shall always be The Connection. It can be The Heartbeat and Lifeline. May I also say your words are a grand expression not to mention clever. I love the title. Wonderful work throughout including presentation and layout. May the fingers always reach the keyboard to connect to love. Well done. Have a great morning.

Ha Lisa. Yes, THE connection indeed. My very important lifeline. I wouldn't know what to do without. Also my friends are such a wonderful source of inspiration, as are you. Thank you, Lisa :)
