Morning came and dad was sad
his sleep had been a tad bad
he smiled a frown
thought up was down
nightmares had driven him mad!

He survived another night..
He, who thought has lost his life.
He told himself, he'll be alright..
As the time passed him by, till the end of every night.

a surprise
the guest
awaiting
gently
she reeled him

putting
his blistered

Always watching you.
He lurks in every corner.
You'll think you lost him.
He stalks you at night.
Don't ever look behind you.
Cause he will get you.

Relaxing on his couch as I am playing and writing on my phone.
Thinking of all the things to tell him when he is fully awake.

From the morning sunlight slowly into the night moonlight.
I think with delight of knowing my future is finally bright.
I keep falling in love with the sight of him again at first sight.

There once was a man from Pennsylvania
Who checked out the night life in Transylvania
He met a girl one night
Who took him out for a bite
Ya know, a night out with Vampira will drain ya!

In the deadly silent night at three
is an insane killer on a spree
both him and his sword crave endless blood
one stab, life ends in a deathly flood
and he won't stop after seventy

A time to sleep
a time to wake
A time to praise
for Heaven's Sake
Praise God at dawn
again at twilight
Then give Him your soul
to keep for the night

(A Children's Poem)
One night
the moon stopped,
rocked on his backside
like a banana
and slid down the sky
to wiggle his toes
in the treetops.
I laughed when
I heard him giggle
and asked,
"Does it tickle?"

sat with him
dressed in black
in the death of night
while his world slept
they waited there
refusing to slip quietly
in the hush of night

Diminished Hexaverse

Somnambulist walks
The streets; never wakes
Till someone stops him.
Take him home asleep;
It's much easier.
No memory
Of whom he is
Or wherever
Remains in mind.
Consciousness
Achieved on
His own, breeds
Success;
A clear
Mind.

I do not know?

Every morning I wake up,
worse off then the night before.
Every afternoon I deal with the pain of life,
with no guidance from those closest to me.
Every evening the tears fall,
with nothing but my pillow to catch them.
Every night I think of him,
when I know there is no use hoping.

The coverage of night...
hides the sinners' plight
Therefore Poor Clares rise
...Before the sunrise! :-D
At midnight to pray
To scare sins away!
Mama Mary shows---
How His Mercy grows
If prayers pre-empted --
When we've felt tempted
Thank Him as we should!
Our God is sooo good!! :)

Everyone asleep
In a deep slumber
Then suddenly bang!
Followed by a crash
Everybody awakes
Starts to search the house
To seek the sound
Until one person
Decided to rest
Noticed the empty
Wall across from him
He noticed the floor
Where the antique clock
Scattered to pieces
On the wooden floor

cringing
beaten
slumped over
nightmares
of revenge --
STRANGLE him
hug mother
for dear life!--
startling awake
nauseous
sweaty
woodpecker foot
relentlessly taps
not my fault
don't hit me...
dinner table food
spasming
mangled by
screams, curses
roars its way
back up
undigested
will I die first

You shine brightly throughout the night
Above my head so clear
Yet when morning comes you seem to disappear
Why are you hiding?
Is it that you're afraid?
Why do you only come out
When no one is awake?
But the moon never answers me
For he does not have a mouth
And now every time I see him
I give a little shout!

It's nineseventeenPM.
and here I am again.
I truly need to sleep,
and rise as day doth peep.
I lie in bed thinking,
feeling very romantic.
Turnin' and tossin
Tossin and turnin'
imagining kissing
each part of his body.
I sure need a hot toddy.
My eyes are growing dim,
"I have loved none but him."

He is stuck in the chimney,
which I think Britney
Spears would find very funny.
He's moving his legs in the air,
birds looking at him with no care
as to the ordeal he's given a dare.
It is 24th December, nearing midnight,
and there is no possible sight
of anyone who can replace Santa,
as the Christmas Master....

Verse
|
Be you,
On you alone
rely.
Rely,
Not on man's vow;
Your hands.
Your hands:
Only true friends,
Play not.
Play not,
In your morning;
Time flies.
Time flies,
Hit the targets;
Save wins.
Save wins,
Days are differed;
Your night.
Your night,
Guide jelously;
Fear God.
Fear God
And worship him -
Good night.

...Then, as expected, came a post-rider,
with a new letter he had to deliver:
A rancher facing evils not of this Earth,
so Sol saddled up, double-checked the girth.
Then rode out northwards in the morning dim,
never again would Victorville see him,
but this was God’s price for things he had done,
fighting monsters to earn his redemption.

Amber Nights
The streets where I live are soft as rugs,
Lamplights of deep amber light them.
A lone, orange tabby trots on his way,
Nobody yelling to f'ind him.
The stars' eyes peek over sleepy trees.
The moon lights a white cat asleep on the deck.
The waterfall drips happily,
On goldfish , so joyful beneath her.

He comes At Night
Who is this man they call Santa?
Is he a crook that just likes milk and cookies?
Why does he dress in red?
So I can't see him from my bed!
Why does he bring me toys?
Is it a joy for him to be given?
He comes at night and not at day
I hear the bells on his sled.
Wonder why he comes at night is it because i ask him why
He comes at night?

A man once asked me,
in the middle of a drifting conversation,
“How long do you sleep in a day—
if you ever sleep at all?”
I looked at him,
searching for a polite reply
but found none that fit the weight of his question.
So I simply said,
“I do sleep—
just like any normal soul.”
But deep inside,
I wondered—
what does normal sleep even feel like
to a restless mind?

Three AM the dogs awake
Let him out for a quick urinate
In he comes tail a waging
I’m tired think of four PM when I’ll be sagging
The nights so quiet it makes you think
How may have this same link
Insomnia or dog I cannot tell
Laying here it feels like hell
Wait a minute I feel sleepy
Eyes shut falling feels creepy
The alarm goes off it is morning
Another day is forming.
