Amber Nights

Amber Nights The streets where I live are soft as rugs, Lamplights of deep amber light them. A lone, orange tabby trots on his way, Nobody yelling to f'ind him. The stars' eyes peek over sleepy trees. The moon lights a white cat asleep on the deck. The waterfall drips happily, On goldfish , so joyful beneath her. 5/28/2019 10pm PST

I like how you tied in the lonely orange tabby with the goldfish, who was joyful. Two orange beings, one sad, the other amazingly happy. Great contrast!

Hello, how déjà vu, you both chose the same line-))! I was going to erase this Poem. I suffer this problem with almost all of them. Poetry deficiency complex-)) At this point, I prefer to Comnent, than write a thing. I might learn something. A FAV? Really! An honor from someone of your abilities and love of other poets.
