Footles, as one, regarding Spring by Sandro Botticelli
Sandro
Does Know:
Venus-
Genus
Darkened,
Starkened
West wind
Chlore sinned;
Shrewd glance,
Now dance
Bough, her
Flower;
Three Grace
At base
Bypass
Time sass,
Laurels
Morals
Orange grove,
Bee soave;
Broody-
Nudie
Looks left,
Bereft,
Cupid,
Stupid
As love
Above
High arts,
Babe farts
Passion's
Rations.

"Tightropes of the Three Graces"
Tightropes
for hanging clothes
on a line
each piece
pegged wooden
held between closed fences
misfortune's breeze lifts
sleeves like covers
pointing the way home
books and their pages
for The Davenport dancers
all's well that ends well
scene perfect
imperfect fortunes
throughout their ages
the balancing act
seeking Life’s rhyme
saving fates in stages
odd numbers
are never easy,
never graceful
the balancing acts,
tightropes
of the Graces
saving fates in 3 stages

A lover of female form, one, Sandro Botticelli
so Roman goddesses we often do see
Painting so decorative,but,never rude
though he did like females standing, nude

Sandro
Mastering his skill of painting, diligent to detail, color, and Frescos (Sistine Chapel)
Born in Florence, Italy, apprenticed as a goldsmith, then later with a master painter
By 1472, he had his own workshop where he created most of his works
Painting his Early Renaissance and Gothic Realism art plus doing church Frescos
He feared marriage saying it gave him nightmares, so he never married or had children
However he did love a married noblewoman and asked to be buried at her feet and was
In his later life, he was accused of "keeping a boy" but he was dismissed of charges
Yet he died in disgrace. His art remains in churches and galleries forever beloved
Botticelli

Some oils on canvas by Sandro Botticelli
will never capture what I now see.
There is a young woman with great beauty.
This heavenly vision is stimulating me.
As Jackson Browne sings: “She must be somebody’s baby”,
the music and lyrics describe her completely.
Frolicking in the sand along the sea,
it looks as if I see Venus in a bikini.
Running with the rhythm of the waves’ crashing sound,
she has the attention of other men around.
On this beach, no greater beauty can be found.
Did this doll rise from the ocean on a seashell?
On each man, she has cast a magic spell.
This pretty young thing is something special.
Today on the sand and surf, she’s a spectacle.
All the other guys want to make time and have fun.
Who would not want her? Who will be the lucky one?
