Today we give cheers to St. Paddy
Taken from the sea lake, Lochmaddy
He holds close a shamrock
Trinity clover keychain schlock
Never cotton to a baddy, a saintly laddy
                                             by I Am Anaya

A tough lad born and bred in Lochmaddy
Poor Scottish lad became a priestdaddy
He had what it takes
To rid Eire of snakes
Yelling serpents begone, much thanks to St Paddy

Erin go Bragh

We celebrate Saint Patrick.
He brought Christianity.
The patron saint of Ireland.
Bake soda bread and wear green today.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Everyone!

*Saint Patrick, who lived during the fifth century, is the patron saint of Ireland and its national apostle. Born in Roman Britain, he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave at the age of 16. He later escaped, but returned to Ireland and was credited with bringing Christianity to its people.

*Erin go Bragh sometimes Erin go Braugh, is the anglicisation of an Irish language phrase, Éirinn go Brách, and is used to express allegiance to Ireland. It is most often translated as "Ireland Forever."[

*The St. Patrick's Day tradition was popularized by Irish immigrants in the United States, who believed that wearing green made them invisible to leprechauns—the classic fairy creatures who pinch anyone they can see.

Lo ,
16 year old boy
Not fearful
 was captured into slavery
Such bravery
How's No Malice, no strife
Temporal surrendering His life
His fate, he escapes
You back later in years
A missionary
In that was known for his missionary work
He did take, he took forgiveness and Grace
 it's sparehe forgave them
Naught none malice nor was there any hate
they're fate
True for forgiveness them Saint Patrick

Be Like Saint Patrick

Why live copying others everyday
Why not inspire them, teach them the right way
Why not like Saint Patrick do good
You will be known for all you did
In your name have day like Saint Patrick day

Saint are ye, worthy of a limerick?

Admirers a many till this day, Mr. Patrick

Premium MemberA Man Called Saint Patrick

There once was a man who liked Saint Patrick.
He said, "find the lovely matric!".
It was rather a banter.
But not every intruder.
He couldn't say no to the hat trick.

Saint Patrick Party

Tonight my friends and I wore green,
In mock accents recited limericks seen,
Listened to Celtic music serene,
And polished our Irish dinner plates clean.

Then gambled and chatted away the night,
Finding high betting penny ante Tripoley a delight.
Amiable banter and teasing the highlight,
A relaxing evening as we reunite.

Hope your holiday did satisfy,
That good company did drop by.
With much merriment before their goodbye.

Saint Patrick the Welsh Version

A Welshman with a little wick
Stood accused of hiding a stick
It caused Nuns to faint
They made him a Saint
And the faithful queued to pat Rick

A Toast To Saint Patrick

Come fill your glasses to the brim with good ole Irish ale
Then listen to my story lads, it’s quite a stirring tale.
Our kith and kin were barbarous when pirates ruled the waves,
They’d terrorize the burly Brits then haul them off as slaves.
Our very own Saint Patrick, lads, hailed not of Irish stock,
And Irish raiders captured him which came as quite a shock!
Whilst forced to herd a flock of sheep for years on Irish sod
His life would change forever as he heard the voice of God.
And though he fled his master on a vessel homeward bound,
A vision brought him back to preach and Gospel truths expound.
So when ye wear your shamrocks, lads and hear the fiddlers play
A-drinking of your pint of stout upon Saint Patrick’s day,
And when ye dance an Irish jig and Gaelic pride do boast,
Remember dear old Paddy, boys, and drink to him a toast.

Irish History Lesson

An Army of soldiers from Prussia
Were ordered to add P to Russia
But down fell the snow
Where they stood to go
So Saint Patrick preached, "Let God flush yuh!"

Saint Patrick’s Day Morning

The moment the sky begins to lighten
with fire
thoughts of rolling greens
mountains cliffs and seas
The people and traditions
the music of Irish poets and saints
a new language of prayer

Song of Saint Patrick - Part 6 - Deeds Continued

VI
Deeds (Continued)
In County Peregal there is Lough Derg
	(To us Red Lake)
		Where dwelled a massive serpent,
To whom the pagans would make
Sacrifice, 'til Patrick stood upon the shore
				And offered up a prayer,
The worm was stunned, fast paralyzed
				And raised into the air,

"Ye people who surround me,
	Who have made sacrifice
		To beasts and idols evil,
	When will they suffice?
There is one god who made us all,
				The earth and universe!"
The worm was rent in two, the lake filled with blood
				And the worshipers dispersed.

It was in County Mayo,
	Patrick fasted forty days
While black birds came to plague him
Soaring down from the grey haze.
			Patrick kept his fast
And took to ringing a bell
					And soon appeared an angel
Who had something great to tell,

"Patrick, you have done much good
And much more you will do,
You've kept your heart with God in Heaven
And, to his word, stayed true.
			The way of redemption,
				You've made the Irish know
					And for your diligent execution,
				Veneration they will show."
