Royal Wedding Far Away
There we were for another day,
In distance land while far away;
Lovely sight;
Pure delight;
Royal Wedding saw without delay.

at Windsor both said I do
modern fairy tale
The prince and princess met and fell in love,
A beautiful extravagant wedding guested.
She wore an exquisite gown of lace,
He wore a handsome uniform.
They were married in a cathedral,
With many honorable guests.,relatives and friends.
They rode in an elegant royal carriage,
Driven by noble horses and great steeds.
Like a fairy tale romance come true
We are looking for the fairy godmother with the wand.
The guests dressed very fashionably,
With elegant hats and fascinators.
A royal carriage took them back to the palace,
Accompanied by the queen's royal guard.
A storybook wedding come true.
How romantic and lovely is that.

Harry's Megan's wedding day
a royal story

When William spied his lovely bride,
he did a double take,
but his mind was caught in delicious thoughts
of the six foot wedding cake.
Kate looked good like a duchess should
but he felt his stomach rumble,
with dreams of mounds of buttercream,
under English toffee crumble.
William is wise and it was no surprise
he vowed not to forsake
but he rushed his lines so he wouldn’t miss
his tea and biscuit break.
Kate so fit, would have none of it
nor allow him to partake,
she couldn’t bare seeing her royal heir
up to his ass in cake.
Kate looked alright on their wedding night
she was glad to be his wife,
William couldn't ignore what he’d waited for
He grabbed himself a knife.
It didn’t cut through then William knew
he’d made a big mistake,
he might have known
it was Styrofoam
the royal cake was fake!
Prince Eric was under a great deal of pressure to find himself a mate,
His father, the King, wanted to retire and he didn’t want to wait.
But he couldn’t pass down the royal crown until his son was truly wed,
So he laid down the law to the playboy prince and this is what he said.
“Scour the land and find yourself a girl who’s tried and true,
One that will become a fitting queen and make a good wife for you.”
So Prince Eric was busy saddling his horse when much to his surprise,
He saw the stableman’s daughter Maggie and was captured by her eyes.
“Take care as you ride,” she said to him, “It seems there’s a storm ahead,”
Eric looked at the sunny sky and asked her to repeat what it was she’d said.
She then explained to Eric that she could see for miles in any direction,
So she could spy on his enemies and was also good at weather detection.
“Will you marry me?” Prince Eric asked as he lowered to bended knee,
And as the bells of the church rang out the King issued his final decree.
“From this day forth I command that whenever my son comes into view,
The bells of the church shall play their song as warning for all of you.”
There’s not a thing in history
(Excluding a beheading)
That gets one’s knickers in a knot
Quite like a royal wedding.
We all remember watching as
Diana claimed her prince.
No spectacle’s come close
And we’ve been waiting ever since.
The wait is over, for today
Prince William will be wed;
And millions, normally asleep,
Will watch the pomp instead.
This televised event has reached
The level of obsession.
You needn’t be an Anglophile
To follow the procession.
I’m sure that many commoners,
So sad to see Will marry,
Are wondering what they can do
To get their hooks in Harry.
If one should e’er succeed,
Historians would be in knots;
Three commoners all in a row –
Elizabeth would plotz!
But that may never happen
Or be years and years away.
Let’s put that thought aside and focus
On today’s display.
For this extravaganza
Makes us feel that we’re attending.
I hope this time the fairy tale
Provides a happy ending.

Another Royal Wedding?

It seems that after eight years of dating
William and Kate are tired of waiting
The heir to the old English throne is he
Though a commoner, Queen she may be
He gave her a sapphire and diamond ring
The one Charles to Lady Diana did fling
It may bring up some memories not so nice
But something like that won’t happen twice
How it will turn out the English wait to see
On it may hinge fate of the Windsor dynasty
The royal family had about all it can handle
Of treachery, lies and divorce with scandal
This wedding gives them a chance to start anew
Some of the damage to the royal house to undo
The union must be one of true love and cares
And also one that produces the needed heirs
If it does, it will bring to the entire British nation
A cause for rejoicing with very much celebration
To tell the truth, it would be much better to me
If they’d elope so an extravaganza we don’t see
