Robber Poems - Poems about Robber

The Robber

I am a robber of sorts you see,
A line stolen here,
A phrase snatched there,
A whole world that glowers before me.

Some want me to die,
Some want to see me suffer in vain.
But little do they know,
I say goodnight to pain.

It’s hard to have everything robbed from you,
Be robbed of what you call life,
And not want to

Robber Baron Passengers

In South Croydon station
They walked tall
Brief cases and ironed Daily Telegraphs
Back to the 80s
They spoke a Corporate language

I remember the old school
but now we are living
with Generation Z
with acne to match
(If they can ever leave their homes)
for office jobs
The performed voyager
to a new world
with resplendent coffee bars with Wi FI
where they plan
their robber baron forays
see

The ugly belly of robber barons

To make money do what you may
And let no rules come in your way,
Capitalism blares
As laissez-faire declares
Wild ways to thievery,
Packaged nigh cleverly
For robber barons of today,
Who should look in mirror
To reflect on error
And ponder, made they are of clay.

He opened the window in much practiced silence
If somebody heard there would likely be violence
He’d been here before and endured quite a spat
For when he broke in he encountered a cat

The cat ran him ragged but he never knew
That things would get worse because ‘one cat’… was two
They’d caught him off guard for he’d come

Arrestation of a Robber

When a robber is
Arresting , he feels shame of
                       Crimes than

Door Without a Latch

It's no true door without a latch,
After closure,still easy catch:
Robber to one's helpless things snatch;
A firm structure turns a bad thatch
And up with things one starts to patch!

It's no Good Gate which lacks a latch:
Could never an invader match,
Who'd across it march with his batch...

Woe to a door met as a batch,
Which carpentry needed a

one, two, three, four, five
I once caught a thief alive.
six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
I let him go once again.
what made me let him go?
because he pinched my toe
where did I just let him go?
for a spaceship that was aglow!

The Bible promises the believer
a life filled with God's joy
produced by the holy spirit within
from this joy, we are the receiver

But many things stop this coming
the evil one wants to take it away
making us miserable, out to destroy
for He knows it's energy to fill our day

The world also lures us in its way
tempting us with

Robber of Every Soul

Oh, black man of the night
Robber of every soul
destroyer of the strongest heart
Melter of the most beautiful eyes

Why do you make us wail in hate?
Why become our unpredictable fate
Why take away our voice
Why make us feel like we don’t have a choice

Without you, we all have hope but with you our world is

Paying Your Tithe

A time-tested spiritual banking,
Higher and higher one goes in ranking,
Slammed doors sweetly unlocking,
Hindering barriers unblocking…

From the wall one has been flung
And like a bag on a peg hung,
One beautifully bounces off,
Once more cooking better-off
Your trifle not with Malachi 3:10,
God having it written with His Pen;
No chance rubbishing of the injunction,
For whomever must get beyond our

A stone cannot be dissolved
Hardly can be changed
But when encounter the same species
Will rub against to give off sparks
To set a fire
Birds of the same feathers flock together
Even a stonely heart has his friends
And loved ones

Eddy, Bank Robber 2

I asked Eddy on this and he asked me who told me. I said one of the lads but I don’t want you hurting him. He was fine. I said I knew a bank robber when I was in the south before. They’re what I call alternative businessmen. They rob a bank and don’t have

Eddy, Bank Robber

Eddy, Bank Robber
When I worked in Park Cake Bakery there was an interesting guy I worked with. His name was Eddy. Now Eddy had a very sharp mind, was an alpha male and had several scars on his face from old fights. It wasn’t his cake making or scars that got our attention; it was
