a new planet

A New Planet

For me, it is too late.
But had I been young, I would
Have done my utmost to find another planet
Livable for humans.
Think of it as a planet without borders
Not carved up into countries and rivalries
And threats from states with big land.
Just one continent where anyone could travel
Where they wanted no passport controls
Or unsightly walls.
A planet without religion to upset the peace
And of course, no political parties
No rules set by the mighty, the authority
Who diverts rivers without asking the people?
In short, a planet for the people and
Animals in the wilderness.
Alas, since humans are settlers.
They will take their flaws along
and in time screw it up

Premium MemberA Poem About Life

I might move faster
than kings.
        But as different rivalries.
My mind is eating raspberry cheesecake!
It
   gets
          to
             say
         whatever it
      wants.

However it
wants.

And now in such a twilight sorrow
      The giddy goodbye.
                                                 My hundred
                                                               thousand lungs.
The gulf
                                                    between me and you.
The heart and the brain.
My
Body
And
Your body.

Premium MemberMoonshine And Mr Baine

So much of yesterday I can clearly see.
There was a man duly a part of my history.
He lived up the road a short distance from us.
We passed his house every day to catch the school bus.

Everyone called him by his last name, which was Baine.
I remember a face that seemed filled with lots of pain.
A hard-working man, but he seldom laughed or expressed joy.
He was the type of man that no one wanted to confront or annoy.

There was one thing about him that enabled me to better understand.
He had a younger wife named Bebe who left him for another younger man.
From that time onward he lived alone and made lots of 'moonshine'.
When I was just a boy, Mr. Baine became a very good friend of mine.

We both loved baseball, and his favorite team was the New York Yankees.
I was a Dodger fan, but we remained friends in spite of the rivalries.
Coming home from school one day, we all noticed that the entire roadway
had the smell of moonshine. It was obvious to us that Mr. Baine's whisky
still had been discovered by law enforcement.

Premium MemberMoving On

Tangled in a web of fractious emotions
Siblings venture forth to make a new life
Often leaving behind imagined notions
Of childhood, sibling rivalries, and strife.

Siblings venture forth to make a new life
Choosing new totems, fleeing sad memories
Of childhood, sibling rivalries, and strife
While aligning themselves with necessaries,

Choosing new totems, fleeing sad memories
Beginning afresh with their positive dreams
While aligning themselves with necessaries,
As old family ties start fraying at the seams.

Beginning afresh with their positive dreams,
Laying foundations for new family and friends
As old family ties start fraying at the seams,
The interplay between then and now never ends.

Laying foundations for new family and friends
Often leaving behind imagined notions,
The interplay between then and now never ends
Tangled in a web of fractious emotions.

Still Breathing

When someone you're close to and love dies, it doesn't get better with time.
That love solidifys and rots in the center of your heart. That rotting unforgettable love turns to pain like acid from a spent core.
It eats up all the remaining parts and leaves a tarnished rigid exterior that has no pity or shame the only thing that classifies as human is blood running through the veins...
No interest in rivalries or playing of games.
Just eternal black sunshine every day's filled with rain.
Where did the splendor and happiness go?!
It was here I remember but now filled with questions to answers nobody knows.
For sake of the memory I must be strong and give it all that I've got.
For honor of a sacred bond that comes to life in each thought.
I'll never stop loving you not one lesson forgot.
You're my best friend forever I'll see you someday save a spot.....

Christmas Time

Welcome
to the wonder and the magic of the reason
that Christmas time brings to the season,
the decoration on the tree, the marvels, and miracles
the lights, the glow of simplicity of carols lyrical,
the ornaments, the garlands and the wreaths,
steals away the pushed aside discounted beliefs
that God is and blesses us
 with the amazement of a child's trust;
at this time of year
there is joy among the tears
 a reckoning of sorts
despite the bad news in ill reports;
 it is a time unmatched
when even ill-tempered rivalries are patched
finding deep within our hearts we are all the same
 seeking peace and love, honesty and truth regained;
so put aside those foolish discrepancies
together we can conquer everything and finally see
rising to greet the very person we were always meant to be.

Flying Free

12/25/2020

Weather advisories
To the lowest and highest degree
People that were mean and nice to me
It's just how life can be
Getting rid of anxiety
I'm climbing trees
And flying free
Across the shining sea
They say timing's key
Take hold of your life, you're in the driving seat

Struggling to stay irie
It's been icy
And fiery
A struggle with sobriety
Just another cog in society

Yet all around me, folks take briberies
Fueling the fire for ongoing rivalries
Nearby small and giant trees

Why must we?
Always be on different sides it seems

Hieroglyphics, so difficult to decipher these
As well as objects from long ago of notoriety

I love the variety
Shoutout to Ebony and Ivory

Words hope to be kept privately
Locked inside of a diary
Got read during an invasion of privacy

If you choose to act out violently
Then you will meet your karma, no matter the irony

Too focused on what the bible reads
Instead of survival needs

This is it, finally

Vincento and Marie

Sicilia, a beautiful island
With a very bloody plan
A few families at war
Murder, corruption and more
Vincento was a street soldier
Marie was a hitmans daughter
With their hearts full of lust
A secret romance is a must
As they belong to warring families
With no trust and rivalries
They couldn't keep their love apart
As they tried so very hard
Marie always in Vincento's arms
Defenceless to his charms
The families learned of the romance
Threatening murder at first glance
So Vincento and Marie ran away
Boarding a ship, destination USA
they wed in secret under different names
Vincento and Marie James,
After the towns priest
Who fought for Sicilian peace
Settled down to start a new family
Travelling in shadows constantly
Just waiting for the time they're caught red faced
In mafia wars love has no place
Always looking over their shoulder
But love strengthens as they get older
Hiding in a town that no Sicilian goes
Will they live forever? No one knows

Memories of Home

Memories of Home
I wish home is near , wow how i missed the family gathering
Meeting my friends and reminiscing our school days
The best part of growing up, fighting with my cousins and exchanges words which Fijians are known for
Our tavales are our rivalries which we can say whatever
This lock down is not doing any good to us

I wish if I can bring back time

When The Blues Are Fun

You consume the whole of me constantly,
Fair drafts ensure flight of our loyal tryst,
Though all known plans bear out uncertainty,
Our center grants said goals to be unmissed.

A misty vineyard drips of subtle dew,
And swells our noble chalice soberly,
Till such, we seal all promises won true,
Our profuse veins sip fortuitously.

Heaven embraces what Earth put apart,
Relished values carried by moral wings,
Sound valor our cultures nobly impart,
Adopted rivalries temptation brings.

Glorious when the twain of us was one,
Our intrepid tales, nonetheless, homespun.

Geniuses of the Earth

The geniuses of the world are
The humble morons of heaven

But are there geniuses in Heaven?
No, no, no, only the Holy Trinity

On earth there are rivalries
In heaven rival and get expelled

What did Lucifer do there?
He behaved as genius, as rival

What if you rival earthly god,
Do you earn expulsion for it?

After Life

Death is a great leveller
A balm for all our ills,
Frees us from every sickness
Without a need for pills.

Old rivalries forgotten
Buried under the sun,
Enemies turn cherished friends
For the role plays are done.

Know ether world is richer
With treasures ever be,
Yet we cling to dear life
Afraid that it would flee!

Essence of life is simple
It’s like ringing a bell,
Whose tolling spells happiness
With a magical spell.

The magic breaks not at death
Know this my mortal dear,
True happiness will unveil
When the heavens loom near.

When Days Are Dark Friends Are Few

When passion fails, love remains
Hills flattened and thus will your obstacles
Even if it seems impossible
No one can withstand possibilities

Day after day try not to lose hope
Abilities pops up like mushrooms
Yielding to negativity isn't going to help
Sooner you need to change your mind set

A day sets with new possibilities
Right now it's time to wake up and-
Erase the past that holds you back

Digging down my soul revealed a truth
Ambiguous visions translate to nothing
Rivalries suppresses innovative minds
Killing negativity gives birth to success

Finding your passion and dwell on it
Releases zest that keep's hustling alive
Intimidated by success is lethal
Erecting a tower with positivity is the foundation
Neither the storm of disappointments can win
Demolished goals can be rebuild again
Surrendering taking up a mission is cowardice

Active mind ignite uncontainable victory
Realization of a dream starts with one step
Endeavour to take a step forward each day

Fulfillment doesn’t limit industrious men’s vigor
Evicting indolent thoughts he does best
While they rest, i keep busy because I can rescue me!
