After the Storm

Rainwater stands in rippling pools, or trickles by.
Sharp fusillades of hail pelt down...and glance --
Far distant thunder calls, and echoes a reply.

Sunshine, streaming through the clouds, lights up the sky;
Like sunlight, shattered by a prism, rainbows dance --
Rainwater stands in rippling pools, or trickles by.

In search of worms, a daring robin, keen and spry --
As warbling songbirds greet a pristine world, entranced.
Far distant thunder calls, to echo a reply.

The earth seems, here and there, to nearly liquify --
Stray raindrops falling, glisten...happenstance.
Rainwater stands in rippling pools, or trickles by.

In full glorious bloom, wildflowers revivify...
Like tiny armies, windswept, sway and prance;
While distant thunder calls, to echo a reply.

Rows of thunderheads, arraigned, withdraw on high --
While shadows flee -- daylight makes swift advance.
Rainwater stands in rippling pools, or trickles by;
While distant thunder calls, to echo a reply.

Be thee my love denied a heart,
Errant the petals of a rose,
Neath the girth of your pretty heels,
Neglect you stray from your repose.

Save me but a tender three winks,
Ventures a soulless heart discourse,
Absolve so they be one again,
Taint naught, let I be your recourse,

Pray my ways take a different path,
The effervescent me detained
Key be my heart locked eternal,
Souls bond be mended and ingrained.

Our World Today

My heart is yet on the globe,
The erroneous proceedings from Adam;
Which led to successive diversity,
Further deepening till this morning,
The bleeding sore of disintegration,
Bequeathed to the result of today.

Seven continents they become,
Originally one as trinity;
Like that in the upper room,
Distorted accent and language,
Further sinking beneath unity;
To the state at hand today

There was a mind of possibilities
With formidable determination
That benefited from the division
These brains could have been harnessed
To revivify our world,
But for the knave that left us here today

I crave mending glue,
Joining the Antarctic crevices;
Sucking dry Arctic waters,
In return to a unified world,
Eden of the genesis with many colours;
A mirage? But here we are today!

My Wrath, My Wrath For Justice

My wrath, O Allah, I do so swear, is not the aftermath of my bad temper
It’s my long shout of forsaken patriotism
It’s my suffering for the cradle of our fathers
It’s a breath to revivify my slumbering
       Countrymen
Who are dying of fears for the sake of peace
 Uplifted with peace to be forever ruled by the prince

My wrath is not a desire to take revenge against the Man and his lazy tribe
It’s the unanswered cries of the hiding in the deep forest
It’s the massacre of my brothers before the 1984 slaughtering
It’s the sighs of the lake Wum, the constant rise, cholera
The drought plundering all the crops and the livestock

My wrath is not a contempt of the order and the widely idealized peace
It’s an attempt to restore justice and uproot the prince’s
        trustees
It’s an attempt to live by our motto to build peace
        in working and loving
It’s an attempt to give birth to Fonlons so as “to share
       in moulding what should be”
And not fatally be eaten like prawns, O Shady Eone!

My wrath is patriotism, justice for all, the reversal of the tribe by the Republic
The really emergent republic

Martyr's Paradise

With the brave nerve and poetic verve,
I have viewed martyr place in a daydream,
Almighty allocate, there righteous soul thereafter life,
Marvelous, awesome, splendid paradise it Seem,

Bowing trees of olive, flowing torrents of milk and honey,
Hanging fruits trickling nectar, Queuing castles in row,
No melancholy, pain and beavering away is there,
Take back the reward of deeds that they sow,

Pleased moments, precious time spent in the rogation of Almighty,
Observed happy, contented and joyful faces of all who martyr,
Almighty ennoble them from the rest of world,
We can’t imagine, the honor given to them so higher,

The beneficence of Almighty so vast and measureless,
Encompass the whole world from above to beneath,
He will revivify new life to them after death,
They become the twinkling star on cloud nine zenith.

Restoration

I leave my four walls
and walk away from the hardness
And coldness of my surroundings

I find the steps that have no footprints
Deep into nature’s sanctuary
With each step I feel more alive
And regain a part of myself

I need this
I ache for this
I have longed for this
Each step brings with it
The awareness of how long it’s actually been

I plant my feet on the softness
Of the earth
I breathe in uncorrupted air pure and healing

I sit on pillows of the greenest mosses
And fill my senses

Nature’s aria
Scents that I savor
The peace, oh God yes, the peace
I close my eyes as my emotions settle

God how beautiful you have made this world
This is the inner sanctum
The true holy of holies

It restores my soul
Invigorates my devotion to you
Blesses me with an ardor for life
And brings me peace

There is harmony between
Mind, body and soul
A union between myself, nature, and You
And I am in one accord

Each time when I visit I wonder
Have I stayed away too long
Once again will you be able to revivify me to consciousness
Resuscitate my spirit and make me whole
And always the answer is
Amen
