What's Stronger Than Insanity?

I am a madman
But you are in pain
So I'll set my delusions
aside for the day
I'll reschedule destruction
For later next week
On the off chance it grants you
a little more sleep

As we know, I am haunted
But you are afraid
You scream in my ears
'Til the dead walk away
And I should check the window
But you are asleep
So for once in my life
I am at peace

Cheque Please Blind Date Over and Out

Cheque please

If you will

Garcon

I have waited longer enough

And if my blind date

Bye some miracle

Does at some point

Eventually finally arrive

And asks did I

Leave you a message

In order to pass on

And give to him

Please won't you tell him this

Time waits

For No Man

Especially 1

Who can't be bothered

To arrive on time

Unless he himself

Is Blind

Doesn't own or watch

Or can tell time

Actually come to think of it

If bye any chance he is in any way good looking

With a sexy body and is a bit of a catch

Nudge, nudge
Wink , wink
Know what I mean

Apologize on my behalf

For leaving as I had a family emergency

And promise I will call him

To reschedule A.S.A.P

And I promise and guarantee you

You will be in for and I will give you

The best tip of your entire life

So much so you may be able to even

Take the rest of the week off

Or afford the cheapest thing

On the menu here or glass of water

Nudge nudge
Know what I mean
Wink wink

James

I am sorry that I'm here again,

God! William, how did you do it?
Is it narcissistic, to want to leave?

You're like a Charles Peirce to me.
How did you get through the year?
"If he could do it, so can I."
I tell myself when I get scared.

But I can't do this anymore.
I'm not trying, you say?
I'm tired, it's not worth it.
I'm losing, like, everyday-

Will I call this a win? Will, trust me-
I really want to stay, I really want to stay!
It's winter solstice now, time's almost up,
Till Thanatos comes and takes me away.

Hey Macaria, can we reschedule?
Is it narcissistic, to want to live?

I think I'll stay till it ends.

Partisanship

Partisanship
Is a towering ship
Complete with a hoisted flag,
Not a flying, dying rag
Her height chasing Heaven,
Her crew certain that she is a haven;
The Civil Service only
To not on her embark,
To keep acting the Lonely
And it keep avoiding like a starving shark…

For civil servants could hundreds of things spoil
And as Partisans, free elections foil;
By this vessel robbed of Impartiality
And by it drained of Neutrality!

Partisanship
Is further a contemptible illness:
A crazy political worship
Of one with your own very weakness;
On the presiding seat
To sometimes ignite a worse heat!

And I reckon, Partisanship
Is a determined focusing flea:
To oppressors signaling their invisible hanging tree
And therefore every breakfast should include a nervous tea!
A conquering army
Easily making barmy,
When detect it couldn’t the Rebelling Enemy
And had to reschedule a victory’s celebration with St. Remy;
Now and then stomaching invisible bullets
Faultlessly dropping their men like pullets.

Teacher From Nursery Rhymes

She never been to a teacher for me
Who would have taught me a glitter of life
She was a teacher of nursery kids
Who has been transferred to school near by

While in the morning , commuting to office
Even before I could start the routine
There is a phone call , alerting my son
Troubling some children so report to school

Owing to late marks I reschedule for
Reaching to pacify , no other way.
He was so crazy and active in group
What else , no children are born to a crime.

Complaints , but repeated, multiple ways
Compel to expect irritating calls
She never plan to stop ring in my phone
Promptly recur like habitual source.

Final one day could I recollect , since
She was so cheerful while talking to me
Confirmed no further more disturbances
She has been transferred to some other place.

Sweeping Up

The hills to the west were looking at me and whispering.
I moved out a little further and turned back to measure the trajectory and speed of their shadow.
The sun put her hand on my shoulder and said “Things have gotten a bit crazy, we’re going to have to reschedule”
A tattooed cloud took the sunglasses from my face and handed them to me, as more clouds stepped over me, “excuse me” and kept going.
I missed last call, and a stiff breeze was already sweeping up around her goosebumped skin. I tried filling her lungs with my beer laden exhaust but she just lay there motionless on a drenched and cold beach towel.
Through the chain link fence the school bus looked on at me with pity.

Space

So much obscurity with no sign of light.
Hope begs the question is there help in sight?
Past, present, and future are mangled in time.
Enters the Captain - buckle-up for flight.
Across the universe, passage bought for a dime.
A countdown begins; it’s the end of the line…
Cashing-in what is left of my mind,
Ready to reschedule this mission of mine.
Envy my trip but heed the sign:
The SPACE around his HEART is dark and sublime.

When Christmas party is foiled by flu
What then, does a harried hostess do?
She goes to the phone
Says, “We must poshtpone.
We’ll reschedule when the dyear is dew”.

Sleep At Last

Dire Straits met Rosie in her kitchen, wearing only a pair of Spandex boxer shorts.

As friends, they had gone to Hammond, IN to see the UFO Convention. There they
were amazed by exhibits about lunar craters and wormholes, as well as how some
scientists advocated using nuclear waste as a new type of rocket fuel.

Afterward, they went to wine and dine at Tid-Bits, a bar and grill where Dire had once
did a gig as a DJ.

Tonight, however, Rosie was bothered by insomnia. Whatever medicine she took to try
to alleviate it just left her drifting in pain.

When Dire came in, he reminded her of her appointment the next day with two vacuum
salesmen. "Perhaps it's your nervousness about that meeting that is keeping you awake", he
said.

"You may be right Dire, and the running around today didn't help any. I'll call them to
reschedule the appointment."

They sat down on the sofa to watch some TV, and Rosie nodded off to sleep during a
commercial for the new Listerine soaked tissue.

' Moonbeams and Blossoms '

Moonbeams … Shone On Blossoms …
what a View-full, Twosome

… in the now-closed, Arboretum
and it was An Awesome …

… Quiet, Night-Sight
yet, Sensual – Visual

And The Fragrance, Drifting Around
 was Deliciously – Residual

I, must Reschedule
for Another Nocturnal – Delight

These Moonbeams On Blossoms …
is so Opalescence – Bright !

Another Twosome ? …
If You’re Inviting Me Back Again … Right !
