Remembrance of the Past Repeated By the Unknown

The past while it lasted
The repeats over time
The mention of the memories
The time has passed
The future and the now
Why drown in the past?
Why rewind it over and over again?
The same song, the same tune
Covered with sand
Surrounded by sorrows
As yet no tomorrow
Person lives in the before
Not moving forward
The unknown
That was then, this is now
Life will not wait
Time is going fast
The past.

Celebrate a newer, better life
Elevate, eliminate, concentrate
Appreciate the elated times
Unwind.

Note: often times some people drown themselves in the past. Not able to move forward. Yet, time heals old wounds. My Prayers. Give all to Jesus. Prayers and miracles still works.

Spring Poem Repeated S

Spring sings a sounding song
spreading softness
somewhat similar
as of a sympathetic summer
surprisingly sending
spells of
spiritual sort
  surpassing some slumber
of springtime... as is
saliently so... !

Revelation Repeated

Awareness floods my veins
The eyes are open now
Truth fills the soul,
Rushes into the hidden corners
Revelations fall into place
Snap to attention
Like dominoes or perfect solitaire

Razors chilled to freezing
Slice my mind,
Galvanize my sight
While ice claws my lungs---
Breath slowing to a ragged rattle,
I can't think,
I can only write my reactions
To my crucifixion
At your unwitting hands---

Sometimes the pain isn't so blatant.
Sometimes it's subtle shadings,
Intricate turnings of pink---
Lace bonds that constrict
Gently, slowly about the heart...
Unnoticed until they've caused pain for some time.
By then they've cut too deeply,
Become too embedded to remove.

Don't get me wrong---
In some veiled, perverse way,
I enjoy it---
I enjoy learning nothing
From my mistakes---

Spring has sprung now
Spring melts the snow
Spring weather better than
winter cold
Spring is here birds are back
Spring brings life to bushes
and trees
Spring flowers begins to bloom
Spring sunshine lifts our spirits
Spring is here winter is gone
Yet today a tease of snow on
the ground coated with snow

Premium MemberNo Life Will Ever Be Repeated

You only get
one shot
in this game,
one chance
to make
your mark.
There are
no repeats
This is it
It's all
you've got
So make
the most
of this opportunity
Give your
best efforts
100%
Don't regret
Just move forward
with your eyes
to the heavens

Couplets, Of Rhymes And Repeated Heartaches

Deep, lonely and darkened,
Life so goes with withering hands of Time,

Gasping, harsh, slow drying winds,
Blowing to create a most morose clime,

Shivering, aching, and cold,
Oft as lost as a river tumbled stone,

Caring, sharing oft despairing,
Listing dark deeds to now have to atone,

Recall, repeat and rephrasing,
Verses that somehow this poet's heart mends,

Inspiring, expiring, firing,
Ink words that predicts what future portends,

Waiting, skating, and baiting,
Fate to admit we're enemies not friends,

Sifting, shifting and crying,
That if love fails, life another one sends.

R.J. Lindley, June 3rd, 1983
Couplets, ( of rhymes and repeated heartaches )
( As Fate, chooses its victims with deep, and sadistic glee )

Note:
Woe unto man and all of his sweet dreams
Fate, deciding differently, laughs and scoffs
tho' one may wade awhile, cool flowing streams
such Life may with a Fated curse cut off.

Have mercy oh! priest
To God through Mary let my plea
Seven times more my sins
I fear I must do it again.

I sinned again o priest,
And must to this alter pray
in your ears all my vile secrets
Forgive me and through Mary to the lord.

I lied o priest,
I crawled in the dark to the red zones
I covet a neighbour’s good also,
as I have done in the past
If you would, oh! Priest
Send my confession to Mary again
Tell all, that hides within.

Take this confession for today,
and all ills before the next,
Let me from this alter depart
To new woes as I this bondage demands.

This is my prayer
To Hail Mary, parcelled by the priest.

Repeated Rebellion

Repeated Rebellion

Shielded ventilation silently choke within
Vision fading blackouts around and around again

Captivity corrupted as greed fills the plate
The burning acidic desire for everything to hate

Vivid recollections splash across the head
Proud of the torture in a painful death bed

Fearlessly without remorse emotions are so weak
Truth is in all the lies if the answer is what you seek

Destined for damnation a one way ticket to Hell
History repeats in cycles as all of the world rebels

In Repeated Words

In these repeated words and limited vocabulary
I buried my sorrows and pain
with no solutions to be found in prayers
with no replies from my gods or my guardian angels
my tears are these occasional poetic explosions
Thrown away or cast away along the time
I lost the meaning of home
eternal seems my everlasting longing for belonging
what sins of my past lives have committed me
to this prison with no walls
which only my beloved death seem able to free me
the will belongs no longer for life
but to detach and detest from the living

The Dance Poetic Repeated

THE DANCE POETIC (just a play with words, acrostic variation)

    T tantalizing, titillating theater, transpires
    H head-on, hesitating hovering hoopla,
E edging effortless extinguished expose' entities.

    D    Dancing dubious distinguished debonair devils;
A anxious actors awaiting attendant accompaniment,
N nuances neither needing necessity nor neglect,
    C castigating casualites continual concordance,
E eager entangled entrance exiting each everyone.

P Pursue petulant possibilities presented passively
O on old odd occasions occupying oblivious obtuseness
E etching embers escaping easy exhibitions exiting
T the touch to trivial tickled trepidation touching tomorrow,
I inhibited inches indicate inklings incidental
C come charm, chance cascading co-mingling cognise coos.

Repeat and join the joyous jubilations of The Poetic Dance.

Like Hearing It Repeated

Like Hearing It Repeated

In morning many poems are in the making
Appear in each thought and breath I am taking
Each poem on paper that I now will write
Are all full of happiness and so much delight.

Having happiness is most important to me
Sharing it with others who also want to be
Stingy you will never see in my vocabulary
More like courteous and kind and being very.

Is there a better way you would want to feel?
Your appearance to others much more appeal
How greatly by eye office I had been greeted
How good you look do like hearing it repeated.

A Repeated Past

Seeing yesterday's mistakes repeat themselves

Looking for hope like looking for elves

Lessons learned reversing like a mirror

Judging without considering the interior

Basic teachings lost like a dream that was nothing but a blur

Greed and false promises continuing to lure

Almost like the world has dyslexia

Arguing over who is right from the left

Looking at our faults like a thousand pound heft

People addicted to love and attention

But when abandoned go looking for redemption.

Forgetting origins like they had amnesia,

Using money as a light anesthesia.

Generations repeating like reruns of episodes,

Old mistakes reworded and put into different codes.

People denying what they can’t understand,

Taking chances like stepping onto new land.

Swarming the same delusional dream like a fly,

Pulling the trigger over a senseless lie.

For every different person, a different personality to wear,

Leaning on friends that will never care,

Then run crying when our hands are bare

Begging for forgiveness like begging for air,

Because this world will never go anywhere

Chasing after the same dollar that wasn’t there.

Repeated

Standing there thinking, wondering if there is a difference from the time before. Or just crawling through the same open door. Time and space always seem to repeat. A history to soon meet. Slowly sliding into the same tattered path. Starting to feel that overwhelming wrath. Some days wishing that the next breath is the last. Tired of the same old story with a different supporting cast. Passion and love is just an illusion for the hopeless that dream on a different level. Searching for a heart that the struggles of everyday life cannot bevel. Actions do not always speak louder than the words that are spoken. These words can hurt worse than any bone that has ever been broken. Yearning just to be needed. Removing these emotions that are so deeply seeded. Is this past simply being repeated.
