He took everything of value from me
Except a house with a busted sink
He thought I was screwed
With the denim divorce blues
He wanted to bankrupt dreams
But little did he know
Starting over is a goal
I’ve a house, making home
I’m proud to hold my own
Busted sink is remodeling gold
I started a new fancy trend
A bed and breakfast cool Inn
Women come who have clout
To figure life out
Or have a girls night with friends
The last thing he said to me
Is you’re going to be sorry
But no I am not
For happiness is a lot
I’m rich now as a free divorcee

"Halcyon moments are privileges for the destitute.", by the poet
The nectarous voices are whispering bye,
as seasons substitute one for the other,
remodeling landscapes harmoniously,
~~subtle surrenders,
A balmy brush of sand granules shifts a beach,
while warm bodies lie are gloriously blessed,
ere a quarterly sunset soothingly sound,
~~humid loses fair,
Pastoral renders reconciliation,
as a glamorous nature fluctuates gleam,
anon vividness slowly acquiesces,
~~restful greenroom folds,
Milk-warm coolly sedates creaminess cascades,
cushioning mellow fields of snowy delights,
entreating eyes amidst shimmering pleasures
~~picturesque shuffles.

She keeps a loaded barb
in her pocket book.
She once found an unused finger,
and has been thrusting it
at hapless men ever since.
She loves TMZ and Nancy Grace.
She sells space to celebrities
and their attorneys.
She harangues the cosmetologist
at Macy’s,
probing for facial weaknesses.
She carries a Pekinese with diamonds.
She is a mother of cloud-children.
They live on the outskirts
of her other interests.
She diets on crustaceans and couscous.
Her soft parts are pummeled
into snapping turtles
While I was away,
her hard buttocks came to visit.
It left a blank card
and a small unspoken threat.
The ‘threat’ was on the front step
when I returned home.
it is now under my roof,
organizing my life, remodeling it
into something less comfortable.
more ergonomically efficient.
I have informed the authorities.

It’s a swill no one interrupts—
A pill that consumes and corrupts
Our honor's been jailed
And truth’s will is impaled
As the blood PAC tempest erupts
Author's note: Many of the super-rich (who do not yet have it all) are determined to have more of the pie since their multiple residences and bank accounts are not enough and their yachts and jets are too small and range restricted (OMG). There are about 600 people who have donated more than $1,000,000 to presidential political action committees (PACs). The very rich, who also are trying to buy Congress, are in the process of remodeling our society. They liked it when society was feudal--when the rest of us were consigned to serfdom or were slaves. This weekend, the Koch brothers are interviewing candidates to see who they will spend almost a billion dollars to elect. Are we to believe their propaganda (that they have our interest in mind)? That is why I support the only candidate who does not have a super PAC who is running for President--Bernie Sanders. Enough is enough and maybe, just maybe, we can prevail over the corruption of wealth. The truth always matters and can never be denied over the long term.

HE DID WHAT??????????
I got a call from my grandson
whose remodeling his "new home"
He said it's big and wide and spacious
And it even has a dome!
Fancy that it's full of marble
and he's a special room for me
He was the only bidder
A funeral home that use to be!

We're going to get a mirror
Twenty-two by sixty-eight
It will be hung upon the wall
Where we get our old plates
Not because we want to do this
No_another reason
We need to cover a mistake
Made in a past season
When we did some remodeling
Years, years, and years ago
My handy man just taped some wires
On others hard job bestow
He said, someday that will need to
Be redone and I hope
I will no longer reside here
Death didn't claim us-nope
We are lucky to be alive
Thank God that He protects
The wire burned into while the man
Was doing the projects
Each time we get our plates and forks
In the mirror we'll see
Errors in judgement then
Now__ fat around that be

I feel the agony of your anguish,
The pulsing pain that now persists
I hear distant calls of your distress
And hear tell your tears of torment
Hold my hand and hear
The words I write
Modest but meaningful
Practical, not trite
Wake up! Wake up!
He shoved you out and slammed the door
Played you as a pastime
You lost, get off the floor
Broken?
Bruised and banished
It was deceit not love
And now he’s vanished
Remodeling?
Not his house, his life
Get the message?
Not his sister, but his wife
Depressed?
You listened to the lies
Forget the flashy fool
Time now for good-byes
Morning Sickness?
Advise to see a doctor
Could be something more
It might be two not one
You need to float ashore
Restore!
Rise like spring from winter
Fresh seeds will sow your way
You are someone special
Remind yourself each day

Dearest D.G.,
it appears to me...
you have a slight quandary!
Let me clarify your confusion,
you frivolous fop...
your relationship is a flop.
Lose his number,
as it seems to be...
you were a dirty secret.
His "sister" likely a wife,
don't wreck her life...
just walk away.
His phone neither broken,
nor is it hid...
you naive kid.
He is not shy,
simply attempting to be shy...
"remodeling" a tricky lie.
His homeT you won't see,
gather what remains of your dignity...
flee this deception.
Focus upon your work,
be a brilliant mother...
eventually you'll find another.
Take these words of wisdom,
if his wife clues in...
you will lose, she will win.
Best of luck,
you plucky duck...
Frankly yours, Agony Aunt

Lightening bolts of color frolic across the snow,
Splatter on the ground, bounce off ice crusted pond,
Heralding Icicle’s last rendezvous dance with Spring,
As soft white dove takes silent wing.
Twisted, sculptured shard of frozen translucent reflection,
Suspended from tree limb, aching to touch the ground,
Holding faithfully to flora’s naked outstretched arm,
Safe inside branches hidden from childish harm.
Feeling warm sunbeams as cool winds tickle and tease,
Glinting lights of rainbow prisms, swirling trapped within,
Slowly soften trickling, transforming its very being,
To silky liquid sunshine remodeling a Winter’s dream.
First a tear, now flowing stream, thawing and diminishing.
Born from liquid frost, a sparkling blade of ice,
Bejeweled Crystal Splinter, adorning woodland fir,
Unrivaled rainbow beauty -- a transitory lure.
Now thin shrinking sliver, reluctantly receding,
Wisped into the clouds, down into the waking pond,
Captured by earth, awaiting rebirth next Winter’s Storm,
In Nature’s first ice cascade on a chilly frosted morn.

I found an old skeleton key
So old it was
That old key
While remodeling my wash
Room
It fell right down in my hands
As I stood there watching
I don’t think I quite seen a
Key like that before
In the time of a century
Long, long ago
It was an old key that old
Key
It didn’t fit my lock’s it just
Glitter and shined
Skinny and long with antique
Quality
So, I laid it out in treasure chest
Of it’s own
To let it lay around another century
In time
Beautiful it was and beautiful it is
That old key
That old antique key has finally found
It's own resting place
From the elements of time..

As the remodeling begins
Much joy fills the air,
All the material is gathered
Soon a new room will appear.
Bright lavender paint
Replaces the old dull wall,
Colorful ceiling fan there
Carefully trying to install.
Move in the oak bunk beds
Mini blinds and valances too,
There's no time to rest yet
For there's still plenty to do.
Tear up the old carpet now
Its all tattered and gray,
For new lavender carpet
Carpenters will soon lay.
One final project is left
Hand my porcelin dolls today,
Go to bed and get some rest
For in my new room tomorrow i will play.

One ear on top
Like a satelite dish
One eye in front and back
So I can see all I wish
My chin is now longer
For it's carrying my nose
Closer to the arm pits
Making sure no smell arose
My mouth is going to the back
On the neck to be precise
I can't stand drinking orange juice
And smelling fried rice
