Premium MemberPaper Mache Heart

Dramatic denim blues
Shredded like teal tears
Nothing to lose but blood
Too broken to face fears

Experiences emerald emerge
Like a ghost from within
Refurbishing old cemetery poems
Papers fly like drones

What am I to you
An old art or a new heart
Full of prophecy and propaganda
Created in His Image

I think teal heals
But nope that’s user error
My brain explains in terror
Only the blood can do that

I would like a camper,
and work on refurbishing it to my own taste;
just love that.

Then drive away,
so fast like I am being chased;
by prey.

The road
all white flakes traced ...
snowed.

I would like a camper,
so fast like I am being chased ...
snowed !

Premium MemberLife-Building Shovel

Wondrous life, indeed miraculous
authored by the Creator
designed with sovereign plan
commences toward triumphant fulfillment...
through my mission as life-building shovel.

Babyhood beams with hope
as God's gift, "bundle of joy" so-called
fruit of love from mother’s womb
greets thankful family midst serenity bliss...
to thrive along my nurturing shovel's diligence.

Love-filled nourishing home prospers childhood
against growing up pains along mirth-filled adventures
bracing adolescence might of curiosity-driven pursuits
to optimize freedom-propelled exploits...
by my persistence as shovel of development.

Between sweet charm and bitter harm of choice
adulthood radiates grace to celebrate
upon service-impact and kindness-influence glow
sharing achievements of great blessings...
while my labour as harvester's shovel needs refurbishing.

As departure time comes
legacy is prayed-for to remain
verily endowed well, by the grace of the Lord
begetting another grand life...
with me witnessing jubilanty --- old shovel of service.

Premium MemberMasterpieces

They're masterpieces
woven from miracle and stardust...
a couple of decades to raise them up
just to send 'm down goblins' road...
a locket of prayers-their silky shields
facing an iron fanged society
brimming with rabid muzzled souls.

You were once trapped
in those same fiery holes
that they're blindly approaching..
and half way down the devil's throat
you've tossed them a God gilded rope..

They've crawled their way back home
a bit less stardust in the lungs
a bit more grit in the bones..
A scuffed up masterpiece
needing sable hearted refurbishing.
You're the stoic greying captain
still stout in the fist of their storms
replenishing their parched soul ponds
with unconditional love and understanding
and the swirling colors of faith divine.

Now they don shields
made of titanium scars-experience
you offer them your sextant heart
as they feed themselves
to the godless world again.

Premium MemberGod Cares For You

God cares* for you truly, more than I do
Offering His best from compassion’s heart
Dearest friend indeed; darling lover, too
Cheering with bliss He does impart.

Affection of His… warms our partnership
Refurbishing relationship’s strong cord
Enclosing us in His divine friendship
Securing our bond through prayer accord.

Faithfulness of the Lord keeps us intact
Ordering our steps for service ventures
Reaching out, sharing His gracious love’s pact
You and I are blessed in His green pastures.

Opulent in Christ’s caring wealth, I stay
Upholding you by faith’s anchoring way.

* 1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him (God); for he careth for you.

Prayer-dedication to my siblings who are my best friends: Manong Rudy, Ading Bert, and Ading Ming

New Wine In Old Bottle

At cock crow
Lady and Mr. Y, turned seventy
They googled themselves;
The wind whistled past
And exposed the gooses back
They felt the wrinkles
On their temple,
The rings around their eyes
And the tires around their waistline;
They threw caution to the wind,
Damned God's wisdom;
Rejected and refused the notion
That every product
Has a manufacture and expiration date

Like Adam and Eve,
They rebelled and went
On a rehabilitation and refurbishing spree:
First, was a tummy tuck, Liposuction,
Rhinoplasty and facelift,
Then,
Necklift, browlift, chinlift, breastlift
And facial rejuvenation.....
For a while,
They shortchanged nature
As a snake shells it's outer layer
But,
Could not cheat death
When it came knocking.

Premium MemberThe Bible and Me

The Bible is God’s Truth* for me in my servant’s function
Redirecting me against vain goals to pursue after heavenly vision
Restructuring me midst shaky stand to fit godly foundation
Refining my faith by the Lord’s strengthening tests and guiding admonition!

The Bible is God’s Oracle for me along my stewardship-faculties
Replenishing me whenever I’m weakened by varied difficulties
Realigning me toward divine sensibilities
Refurbishing my soul thru the supreme Director’s counsels of priorities!

The Bible is God’s Testimony for me with my obedience-consistency
Referring me to the Saviour’s answers to prayers’ earnestness and urgency
Recharging me against coldness by the fire of Gospel message about His mercy
Renewing my courage by the Spirit Who inspires Christian fervency!

The Bible is God’s Covenant for me toward revival-blessing
Reinvigorating me within the bounds of the Master’s standard and cleansing
Reawakening me for submission that His epistles are expressing
Restoring my hope for Christ’s coming on to eternal praising!

*Psalm 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

Premium MemberMill Treasure

The Mill wheel wouldn't turn until Spring
Money was needed for refurbishing
Built in nineteen hundred and seventeen
It was advised they replace everything

A treasured part of local history
Host to all the town's social memories
The wheel itself was pieced in artistry
Workers heard tales of hidden treasury

Whispers ran through the town from door to door
The Mill required complete overhaul and more
The expenses were beginning to soar
They scoffed at hidden treasure folklore

A deep freeze stopped all construction for weeks
Influx of needed money appeared bleak
The refurbished wheel was installed - now leaks
Ice melts, revealing secrets - wheel creaks

A puzzled technician on wheel repair
Opens up a toolbox, gasps, stops to stare
The bricks of gold have answered their prayers
The Mill has been replicated with care!

For Rent

Frame is solid, some refurbishing needed; I have a room for rent
Only needs a few repairs and my patience has well been spent
Ready for immediate occupancy as soon as one can spare

Renovations commencing instantly; rent is somewhat fair
Equipped with all the essentials; a spacious room is what you’ll find
Needs an well organized individual; one able to dwell inside this mind
Today it’s clean and tidy as can be; tomorrow's a new day, I'll wait and see
