God Cares For You

God cares* for you truly, more than I do Offering His best from compassion’s heart Dearest friend indeed; darling lover, too Cheering with bliss He does impart. Affection of His… warms our partnership Refurbishing relationship’s strong cord Enclosing us in His divine friendship Securing our bond through prayer accord. Faithfulness of the Lord keeps us intact Ordering our steps for service ventures Reaching out, sharing His gracious love’s pact You and I are blessed in His green pastures. Opulent in Christ’s caring wealth, I stay Upholding you by faith’s anchoring way. * 1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him (God); for he careth for you. Congrats Beata. Nice to read that your siblings are your best friends. I like the combo of Sonnet and Acrostic. You poem also reminded me of Matthew 6:26 "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"
