high-fiving hilarious hyenas
illustrious indigo iguana
jokily justifies
kangaroo’s curious kindness
luxurious llama laughs
mangy monkey mimics
noisy next-door neighbor
ornery oustanding ostrich of Oz
provokes prissy persnickety peacock
querulously quarrels with quick quail
resident rodent rushes
sassily sure-footed and serious
temperate tarantula turns
under universal udder
variegated villainous veins
willingly walk weirdly
‘xciting ‘xacting ‘xtraordinary
yellow yang yaks
zing in zigzag zones, zeroing alabaster aardvarks
He's poised at the threshold, ready to husk flight.
His limbs are tense, and he seems to be in a plight.
A deep pit awaits him below, as the sky is limitless.
The time is here for him to fly away, vociferous.
As he descends, he feels air rush under his wings.
His voice vibrates in his head, and he wants to sing.
The high tide lifts him up, and he glides effortlessly.
Falls on a daisy and swallows its nectar querulously.
His time here is short since he must find a mate.
Is a sewer topic on his mind, and he sees it as his fate.
From above, he gets a glimpse of her. He must try.
To tempt her into their erotic dance, as he has to die.
Akin to actors on a stage, everyone moved as one.
Their summer ballet is depicted on a paper pen.
Earth's Chronicle has gone down over the years.
While he is dying, she lays her eggs yet no tears.

Wandering winds wind through tall thin trees
sending constant consumptive croaks
with sustained sonority.
Quaking querulously
a mellow message,
a somber song,
sweetly sung
by a
zephyr
An abecedarian Australian animal activist
Bagged bodacious big bucks
Caustically criticizing crocodiles,
Driving darling dragons
Essentially extinct. Eschewing
Fact, fabricating fanciful fiction,
Grifting gloriously,
He haughtily held hostage
Important, instructive information,
Juxtaposed jaundiced, junk
Kangaroo kills,
Leveling large lizard libel,
Manufacturing marsupial misinformation malevolently.
On other ominous occasions,
Preferring pernicious propaganda,
Quickly, querulously, quashed
Real, rational reports, rather,
Substituted several substantially
Tarnished technical travesties,
Undermining unified understanding.
Very vociferously, viciously
Wrote works without warrant,
Xenophobic xenotypic
yarns, yammering yellow-bellied yawps,
Zombie-like, zealously.
The blank paper blatantly lies on my desk,
Querulously staring at me,
Seemingly not getting far enough fast enough,
Distinctly posing as a scratch and sniff.
My itchy pen lying beside the paper,
Full of words and raring to go,
The meniscus not showing even an ounce of movement,
I can hear the hidden voices in the ink.
The Caravel Moon with its dark grey sails on the high seas of a stormy dark blue sky
on the flickering eve of Candlemas. I watch from a light house those sweet enemies
querulously contest on the wharf of the Stade de France on a clear Parisian evening.
