Premium Member Night Creatures

Like a gecko, that one changes their colours
speaks in tongues long then short blue
climbing up and down walls clicking
translating the draconians’ poetic profusions
all are night creatures in the absence of light fluctuations

they scurry along the cracks over the white and the black
5 fingers 5 toes, quite quite reptilian,
efficient in the chosen environment, useful,
amusing a muse, then, when the mourning sun rises,
contradictory, scurrilous, misplaced, undeniably ugly,

yet cute

Night creatures, light framed
lone vigils, velvet skinned strict vigilantes
on all fours preying Carthusian monks
nakedly bathed in absinthe chartreuse
through their clicking chants, looking for true

through the glass onion
peeling back layers
shedding skin
on a wall
5 fingers, 5 toes

amusing a muse

Premium Member Time for a Serious Poem

It's time for a serious poem
So I can truly show 'em
  That I've mastered metaphor
    simile, prosaic petit fours ...

I'll pull out all the stops
    rhyme and meter, extra hops
Brew up such a batch of phraseology
as befits an epic of eschatology ...

My vocabulary will absolutely astound you
as to the heights it soars and leaps-'n'-bounds you
And as for opaque literary allusions
why, there will be multitudinous profusions ...

But if all this still does not pass critical muster
~ I'll hire AI to adjust her

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

Concerns In My Corner

The demise of tears and fears fraternizes no frown
From my heart honed to handle an emphatic event
That stresses the face and pace of concerns in my town.

Tame any dame who claims to blame Bloom Brown
For infusions and profusions that signal an ingenious intent
Cos the demise of tears and fears fraternizes no frown.

Why cry over spilt milk when services of a clown
At little cost tames tiffs and whiffs in an incident
That dresses the face and pace of concerns in my town.

Conciliation and reconciliation compact the crown
Primed to decline and redefine a malcontent
Cos the demise of tears and fears fraternizes no frown.

Differences coupled with indifference can’t drown
Enthusiasm towards closing ranks to set a precedent
That stresses the face and pace of concerns in my town.

In the end, I conclude it doesn’t pay to wear a gloom gown
Stitched and bleached to imprint on my heart a devil dent
Cos the demise of tears and fears fraternizes no frown
That stresses the face and pace of concerns in my town.

Like a Blossoming Flower

Like a blossoming flower
I yield to the sun;
While listening to the rays of
Light fill each pore.
Never asking why,
Never asking when,
Never asking wherefore
Go I?
With bounteous profusions of beauty
That call upon the
Time of no-time--
No beginning, no end--
The poem becomes itself,
Completely itself.
Amen.
