The devil's presence looms, a constant shadow on my back,
As I toil and struggle, my dreams stuck on repeat, never to crack,
The more I strive, the further I drift from the shore,
My knees tremble beneath me, worn from the weight of prayer and more.

The doors that once promised hope now stand closed and grey,
