POINTING TO THE PROBLEMS
{Bivouacs}
Beat down with legal fees
Tied up with taxes;
Tripped up with mortgages;
Ripped off with student loans
Insulted with insurance
Telephone updates.
Out of date opts,
New upgrade rates;
Food on the down-low
Carrots in the closet;
Conjugating with fake rice.
Plastic cabbage, inedible corn.
Tomatoes with fish dung
Water with lead, flatulent cows
Polluting the air.
Carbon emission:
Beyond the stratosphere:
Halliburton and agent orange.
Nuclear explosion -radiation;
Devastating the atmosphere.
I can’t explain, with no
nutrients to the brain.
No minerals to the lungs n heart.
Contaminated nation;
Sheer contamination.
Is it too late, to rise above the hate?
Tired n Devastated, tried elevation.
Tried to immunize, and fine tune
My body to this new moon.
With herbs n mushrooms.
Sun Hot, Global Scorching...
Illuminati wants hearts,
and good body parts.
Neanderthals,running back to their caves
Underground bunkers, where they’ll be safe…
Americans dangling off bridges with knapsacks;
Flimsy structures and Bivouacs
No air, no food, no heat,
Not even water safe to drink.
Like Dinosaurs and bees, fast becoming extinct.
I can’t even think, with no nutrients to the brain.
No minerals to fortify lungs n heart.
Contaminated nation,
Sheer contamination.
With nowhere to run;
What do you think should be done?
Child:
I'm sad
Actually God is very bad
Sending so much problem in my life
that I decided to commit suicide
Mother :
Problems?
Means you are strong & brave
Congratulations!
Have party & let's celebrate
Okay, let me tell you a secret
What happened in the heaven
God was sitting in his cabin
Suddenly a monster came
Monster : Where are you God-the beautiful soul?
See, I'm the powerful of all
God: How silly you "the Monster"
My children living there are stronger.
Monster : Hey you God!
I'll prove you wrong
Name your children
Who are strong
God told all the name
Monster felt jealous of them
This is how game starts
God showers happiness
Monster throws problems in their path
God is always present
Really hard to see you in pain
But can't fight for you
'cause he believes
The so much strength
He gifted you
The Law is as simple as sums
The more you are stronger
The more you get problems
The more you cry & get stuck
The more party n' dance Monster does
So what will you do?
Will you cry & get stuck in pain?
Or will you fry the problems
& move ahead to win the game?
Whenever you get problems
From the next time
Look at the sky, smile n' shine
Tell the Monster
"oh you loser,
Look at me
Now you'll see
The Brand new best version of me "
They come to me with their tall tales.
I pretend to listen to their fables
Appropriately sad, I say
It's well my sister.
Everything will be fine
I say it like I truly mean it.
The truth is,
I have my own problems to deal with.
People throw banters and enquire about each other
They act like they mean well for you.
Can I get a little change from you.
I haven't paid my school fees.
My rent is still outstanding
They turn their backs
And say
I have my own problems to deal with.
We love to talk about ourselves,
Who will listen
Who wants to listen to your problems
Half of the time your talking, their mind is elsewhere
Halfheartedly paying attention to your rants
At the back of their minds, they scoff
And say,
I have my own problems to deal with.
Thank you for listening you say gratefully
My dear, your welcome.
Anything for you, they lie
They roll their eyes behind you
Who wants to carry another person's burden
Who wants to listen to your secrets?
Who wants to keep your secrets by the way?
I'll pass they say,
I have my own problems to deal with.
When life is coming at me full throttle
Sometimes I think I should bury my problems in the bottle
Empty the vodka out and then Cry in it
But if I do that, eventually I'll die in it
I come from a long line of addicts
I saw heroin & alcohol ruin my mum, dad, sister and brother so I stay drug free
Yet people still feel the need to judge me
Because I'm bipolar and have a mind of madness
Social services neglected me for 2 years knowing full well I was in an unsafe household
They were forced to pay me compensation, now they probably wish they could tape my mouth closed
Parents spent their money on alcohol so left me without food to eat
They were too busy fighting to care that their baby would cry himself to sleep
27 foster families by age 11 I never knew love
Age 14 my biological sperm donor died, and I didn't think of him too much
It's hard to miss someone laying in dirt when they dragged you through mud
Age 15,things got too much, So I picked up a blade, put it to my wrist and drew blood
Got to see my mum six times a years
She told me she wished I died instead of my dad
Since then I've buried my head in my pad
And rhymed my tears
I'm unable to cry, so I have to shed them on paper
Depression became my friend, anxiety became my neighbour
Got told I'd be dead by 21, here I am at 25 I'm a success
It makes me smile, knowing some will see I survived and be upset
When life is coming at me full throttle
Sometimes I feel like i should bury My pain in a bottle
But instead I put all of my pain on a page
I overcame all my obstacles and found better days
Peace or Problems
Do we want peace or just more problems? Whatever shall it be?
We will always have our differences, that is a strength for all to see.
There are countries in this world, where freedom has all been lost.
This happens when people are unarmed, it ends with a terrible cost.
If you lived in North Dakota, you would never have such fear.
We are armed with rifles and scopes, which are used for hunting deer.
I have made running headshots for years, many over 300 yards.
There are 30 guns in my home, government control is not in the cards.
Every household out here is armed, some more heavily than mine.
If I ever run out of ammo, I have strong dogs who will hold the line.
I have no fear of government, this is my home, and I will never run.
We will always be invincible; I am protected by God and my gun.
We can stay warm without any grid; we know how to live off the land.
We are a formidable force, not just some little boy band.
I think we should all get vaccinated, that is just what I believe.
But I will die for your right to choose, my convictions will never take leave.
problems can never made me strong.
please don't explain that
problems and difficulties made me strong.
please try to understand,
problems mades me scattered.
even if,
i tried to face them with a smile.
sometimes problems hurts the heart.
it's not correct to say,
that it's my perception only
because
i always thinks at my own way.
i know,
i don't have a strong heart.
problems are not good .
please don't say
i can face them easily.
When love turns sour, your left without hope.
When our hearts are broken,
They aren't easily mended.
Your heart will be torn and frayed.
The ones you once loved will
Humiliate you in the worst ways.
They will fill you with agony and tears,
But, before the agony, comes the anger.
You feel betrayed and devastated.
They will disable you of all defenses,
Because that person was the one you trusted.
You told them your secrets and heart's greatest desires.
But, when you realize the ulterior motive,
The reason they were in your life in the first place,
You are ashamed of yourself for being naive.
So, because you won't allow yourself to be hurt again,
You know you'll never be able to be with them.
But...You'll still regret all those stupid fights,
And you'll still laugh at all the silly jokes.
You'll remember the good times and the bad,
And thank God for the time you had.
I did not hear the voice of faith,
that whispered in my ear.
My prayers were too loud,
and my soul just couldn't hear.
I did not hear the voice of hope,
that cried inside my tortured heart.
For my mind was full of anger,
And my feelings were too tart.
Then something crept inside of me
and touched my vacant spaces.
My spirit felt it's soothing presence,
and Journeyed to uncharted places.

THAT’S just wrong…

Their business

THE MODERN VEHICLES LIKE CAR, SHIP AND TRAIN,
BULLDOZERS, TRUCK AND CRANE,
AND ALL OTHER EXPERIMENTS THAT WENT IN VAIN,
ARE HARMING THE ENVIRONMENT
FOR THE SAKE OF DEVELOPMENT.
WE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT,
WHEN THIS DEVELOPMENT WAS BROUGHT.
BUT STILL THERE IS TIME
TO STOP THIS UNFORGIVABLE CRIME.
GLACIERS ARE MELTING,
WHICH WILL LEAVE YOU LAMENTING.
MANY ANIMALS LIVE IN THE GLACIERS AND SNOW,
AFTER THE GLACIERS MELT, WHERE WILL THEY GO?
PENGUINS, SEALS, WALRUS AND BEAR,
PLEASE SAVE THEM, OH MY DEAR!
DUE TO INDUSTRIALISATION,
THE PROBLEM THAT INCREASES IS POLLUTION,
TO WHICH GREENERY IS A SOLUTION.
GOD IS NATURE’S CREATOR,
AND WE ARE IT CARETAKER!
I had a senior moment
Computer I was on
I was on the Face Book
Then the bloody page was gone
My Grandson came to my rescue
Cause me I had no clue
He sat down and worked it out
Me, I did not know what to do
Now computer is back on form
I am so pleased, am I
If it happens once again
I will call this clever guy
Problems many of which are not getting solved
not because I'm not resolved but because I delay
to savor the day, the moon and the season
which is why I'm a non-person under the eye of eternity.
Except for my unpaid bills. And iambic pentameter.
Aaron fails English. Is there summer school?
What an *******! I want to slug him, but also
his teacher, Mr. Fisher, who's probably
a nice guy, just doing his job and raising a family.
Then there's the catheter from my last surgery
I was so sick I thought I was dying. The out of network
pathologist and radiologist have declined my insurance
and charged me to the hilt. Like I had a choice
face up in the emergency room. Facing doom, you don't ask questions.
Now that I've rejoined the living I've got to raise a million bucks
to save organic farms and endangered species I'll never see.
Perhaps none of this matters and chanting's the answer, Buddhist
precepts,
or as Dad would say This too shall pass.
Life is a back and forth game but baseball is zen meditation,
you're in right field, nothing's happening, nothing's gonna happen,
but you can't let your attention wander for one second.
I should clean and oil my trumpet for Saturday's gig
or the valves will stick. And leave early enough
not to get stuck in traffic. Other lives, other quilts.
A guy who takes the subway to a dead metal desk
and the boss who fires him with the cold hard eyes
of one who accepts the rules entirely. Actually
we're fortunate to have rules because otherwise
child soldiers armed with AK-47s would be shooting up
the village and setting fire to our thatched roofs.
Instead, under the rule of law, when snow falls
even old roofs look like problems with proofs.
Dilemma
Cold air of winter nights
Breath a visible mist
Gloves protect from frostbite
From fingertips to wrist
Ringing phone in my hand
Alerts important call
Now a flaw that’s unplanned
Gloves create a wall
Screen is shielded from a touch
This call I must now take
Removing hand from warmth’s clutch
Tough decision I must make
Snack attack
Squeaky clean with a hint of mint
Colored white, plaque is absent
Placed the brush by the sink
Now my stomach starts to think
A grumble calls from deep within
Hiding where my hunger’s been
What to do? The taste won’t please
Why does my stomach want to tease?
Hunger waits as I ignore
Thoughts of food and drink galore
With resistance I make a snack
And I brushed again, I’m back on track
Allergy Poem
Pollen, dog hair, mold and dust.
Make my sinus raise a fuss.
Headaches, itchy eyes, histamine.
Many a season I have seen.
Cough drops, tissues, little red pills;
Drug store prescriptions, druggist fills.
Hot tea, lemon juice, local honey;
I have spent a lot of money.
Allergies can drive you wild.
I've had them since I was a child.
Someday I'll walk through Heavens door.
Then I won't have allergies anymore.
She doesn’t have a man,
But her trash gets taken out,
She doesn’t have a car,
But she knows the bus routes,
She doesn’t have a lot of money,
But her bills get paid,
She’s not super model pretty,
But her smile is as bright as the sun’s rays,
Her child doesn’t have a father,
But neither did she,
They have each other,
This seems to be all they need,
She doesn’t have a man to hold her at night,
But she wakes up to her daughter’s smile,
That makes everything alright,
She doesn’t have a lot of friends,
The one she has, is the truest to the end,
She gets lonely,
But she knows she’ll be ok
She doesn’t have a lot,
Things are not always great,
Some people have left her behind,
She’s grateful for the ones who stayed,
She doesn’t worry about what she lacks
She just thanks God, for always having her back.
