I will not jump through hurdles nor hoops 
I will stand on the righteousness of my Father 
for He is absolute
It's not yours or my truth 
But is His, He speaks it's us 
up to us
To receive

Prevalence of Predators

Sharks in the ocean, killer whales -
prevalence of predators in knee deep water,
all because men know better.
They, we - bring disaster to the shore,
to the salty, silty, haven
of children, couples, the old and young.

The fascination of jaws, rows of sharp teeth,
claws at our imaginations; not as lovely
a ride as a dolphin does bring; gladly
gambolling along

Prevalence of Purposelessness

Early in life worthlessness prevailed employ
ying gnawing, infecting thought processes
did more than annoy
rooted, short circuited, and tasered
flickr happiness lived

spontaneous bobbing sponging buoy
clinging to mother's
apron string series
of unfortunate events
conspired to destroy

that extremely introverted
shy locked lad, and somewhat coy
no matter bred from Jewish stock,
his existence he did not enjoy
he knew no more of Semitic heritage,

Overcoming Sad Christmas-Prevalence

Christmas is great bonding time for family members
Enjoying love’s warmth of glowing relationship embers…
Yet with Mom’s absence… as each of us remembers
There were anticipated “sad Decembers.”

Such painful reality was my personal struggle
Compounded with work and challenges to handle
Busy fulfilling varied roles and multi-tasks’ rattle…
...Christmas get-togethers are somewhat difficult to tackle.
