Hall of mirrors, reflection and cheers of cherry eyes.*
Toddler’s dimpled cherub skies open amazingly wide.
Coruscating spectral display of fairy lights on preponderant fir.
Silver and gold charms the little prince’s irises.
Nuzzle of a red nose ~ dancing reindeer comes to life.

He offers her a diamond ring - their lips animated under the mistletoe.

Premium MemberEmpty Streets

Empty streets, I dreamt about them;
and a payphone - did it ring?
Could it be stranger things
repurposed in the preponderant dark?

After 2000 was the hustle and bustle
of mortar and dust; were there butterflies?
I dreamt this dream after that,
but presently the streets are clear

except for pigeons and the law.
No pretzel carts. Broadway busted.
But the phone, did it ring;
what does it mean?

I was alone. I don’t think payphones
existed on the payroll anymore.
There’s a phone in a glass box.
I want to know what it means.

I thought I knew
but it seems
there may be more:
more empty streets;
more to my dream.

Unbowed

How would it feel having no single woe to bear,
In that sooty heart oft stung by ceaseless tear?
Wouldn't the sobs-accustomed soul court pain,
To save those melancholic rhythms in its stain?

It's abnormal for usually teary eyes not to cry,
For that erstwhile crestfallen spirit not to sulk.
Used to endless gall it's sickly to feel brighter,
It's a health disorder to let go of that acid bulk.

And can this be the preponderant reason fair,
Fate gives each mortal breast its itching care?
Could earth's being all-free from fettering cries
Birth taboo alien studs obnoxious to the skies?

I'd wish to pass life's mean hour in gayest glee,
But if Wiser Lot considers it far much saintlier
To lead a gloomy existence by ruings checked,
Thus rightly eschewed by oily mirths let me be.

There's huge heroism in every iron dragon slain;
None in safest paths unmarred by battle's stain.

Premium MemberA Doily a Day

delicate lace linked by crochet
labyrinthine stitches a doily a day

counted by repetitious candlelight
motherly hands of preponderant foresight

twisting and surrender of silent threads
tucking each one into intricate spreads

lovingly lace reflects persistence of face
a warm cosseted Victorian embrace

from hands that stumbled with wrinkles
forlorn and gnarled knots, catastrophic crinkles

yet the warm, soft hand that comforts her ill
a kin that kindles the fire and spins with skill

she’s mastered the lessons rendered at the knee
of longsuffering love and mother’s humble marquee

Panglossian Perspective Pivoting Poze Pretentiously

Pacific, pacifist pampered papa
parading par excellent paragon
parent (parenthetically parochial
particularly partisan) parvenu
passive, passionately paternalistically patient,

paunchy, peaceably pepped, perfectionist,
perceptive, perennially perky, permissively
persevering, persistently personable, perspicuous,
pertinent, phenomenally philanthropic, philharmonic

picturesquely pious, pioneering, piquantly pithy,
playfully pleasant, pleasurably plucky, plummy,
poetically poignant, politely pontificating, popular,
positively potent, powerfully practiced pragmatist,

praiseworthy, prayerfully precious, precise
predominant, preeminently preferable, preparedly
preponderant, presently president, prestigiously
prevailing, priceless, princely, principally pristine,

privately privileged, prized, proactively procreative,
prodigiously productive, proficiently profitable,
progressively prominant, promisingly prompt,
prophetically propitious, prospectively protective,
proudly proven provocative, prudent psyched, puissant,
punctilious, punctually purposeful.

The Sun

Visible to us from millions of kilometres ahead
The sun spreads its light like a L.E.D

Eons ago God created this planet
Revolving around the Earth for our betterment

Rising early in the morning it brightens the world
Providing many benefits to proceed forward.

Journeying from east to west
It rotates thereby bringing happiness in every nest

It shines to produce heat in our body
Producing the necessary energy

With positive contributions to the plants
The crops receive their grants.

In the medical field it plays a preponderant role
Sun rays heal the wounds through the granulation of holes.

At seaside the sun kisses the horizon
Creating a natural view for appreciation

Also involved in the rain cycle phenomenon
it influences sea and water evaporation

But now man has destroyed the ozone
With over exposure we enter a dangerous zone.
