Angels of God, thank you for all your work, for making all of our moments turn to light.
Angels of God, lighting our life, giving us help in times of need.
Angels of God, shining bright, loving and caring, giving us support when we are in the dark.
Angels of God, you are appreciated today and always, you are in thoughts.
Angels of God, lead and guide us in all of our steps, make our days bright on our path to our true life.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
Scatter my dada
Don’t let my enemies laugh at me
Don’t let me break through this hard times
Don’t let this Empty bottles of alcohol
Consume my heart
Don’t let my worries be my torture
Don’t let my dreams be my fear
I have been through this fires with it shadows smokes and flames
I thought it will shape me a new person
I have been calling for grace
I hope it don’t take a life time
So don’t let me give up on myself
I have been hoping all this times
I have been working hard all this days
Don’t let me break in this era of temptations
I don’t need to
Scatter my dada
Scatter my dada
I feel alone despite all around me
I feel like am drowning with no words
Yet my silence is louder than my quest
Don’t let me be far from favour
Remember my good attribute’s when am down and tired
Remember my words when is night
There is no sweet pain in darkness
So Don’t fail me when my energy is done
I was a survival with no remedy
My past are full of the art of actions
So don’t let my life be an empty vesel
Don’t leave me to break my dignity for vanity
Cos this will make me
Scatter my dada
A letter to my maker
My life is crumbling down
And my walls are caving in
Its been headed down hill
Since i began a life of sin
I could've been a lawful man
And found a respectable way
I should have fought harder
At keeping temptation away
Now all my wrong choices
Are showing their ugly face
I can't escape from them
They refuse to give me space
I feel as though I'm sinking
Being swallowed by quicksand
I'm reaching out while Praying
Someone will grab my hand
"With you is the sorce of life"
The sky, the land, the sea
The wind, the rain, the sun
The very breath in me.
I once asked the question,
Why you yourself did not descend...
If you were to die
The universe would end!
Once you raised your Son from death
You gave him immortality.
You planned to grant him kingship
For all eternity.
Although his rulership began
In the year 1914,
The physical evidence of his reign
Is still in future to be seen.
Like you, this kind and caring king
Rules from the realms above.
In harmony with your will
He governs your earth with love.
His heart will glow, his eyes will shine
As he reverses the effects of sin,
While he brings to full fruition
The vision you saw to begin.
This mighty king Christ Jesus
Will soon bring wars to an end.
He won't be a distant entity
But forever our close friend.
(Psalm 36:9, Romans 6:9, Psalm 46:9)
Like Simon and me
Phorgiving a Pharisee
Is done Jesus-ly
Like Isaiah, we
Say here I am Lord send me
With Gospel decree
Phorgiving someone
Is the loving thing to do
Convocation-ly
It is the PSabbath
We will pray and sing psalm psongs
Rightly and greatly
Lord we praise You now
Holy, holy, holy is
Lord God Almighty
Phorgive us our
Pharisaical, sinful
Heart attitudes towards You
Help us to be more
Like Jesus, Who gave His life
Fulfilling God’s law
Even so come quick
-ly, we pray as the psalmist
Awake, Arise Lord
So phorgive us Lord
Repent unrepentant we
Graciously Jesus
So sorry Charlie, that your gone, my heart tells me you are even stronger now, like the force of light you are shining bright in our heart and mind.
That you are now part of the bigger force of God, that moves all around like the sun and moon.
That your life was so well done, that God chose you to come home, he put his arms around you and said Well done Charlie.
Your life was so amazing, you inspired so many for God, you gave love and kindness to all.
We love and miss you so much, we are praying for all your loved ones.
I am remembering Jesus’s life and how short it was, yet today we remember him so well, like Jesus we will never forget you, we will honor all of your life’s works.
Many hated Jesus and killed him, but he lives on, making a path for all of us to follow home. Charlie you did the same, you light a path that is so bright all the world can see the light.
Death is not the end, as Jesus told us, it is only the beginning of our true life. Charlie you light a path for all the world, and today and forever we will hold all your words close to our heart.
Lifting Prayers to God, today and always.
God created the earth
Grounding connects you to the earth
Garlic grows from the ground
Incorporate these 3 and explore the difference, experience wellness and embrace the change within your mind, body and life. I’m just saying.

At dawn
I wake
With hope,
Thinking
About
Maker
Of life
I pray
To God
For faith,
To keep
Me from
Trouble
And strife
He knows
My mind
My heart,
All things
I'll do
He can
Foresee
At night
I thank
The Lord
For love
And care
He gives
To me
Power to love, makes our life have all kinds of power.
Love can heal and create; it gives us a feeling of floating in space.
Love can make all our dreams come true, making us have a light and fluffy kind of feeling all day.
Love can make us go crazy, we can lose sleep and fail to eat and do any of our chores because we want our love beside us all day.
Love can make all our life a blessing, give us comfort and a companion, giving us joy beyond imagination.
Love is a feeling that we work on every day with deeds of good and care for ourself and those we choose to interact.
Love is a positive feeling, it makes us move with care and creation, making our life designed with beauty and fun.
God loved us when he created us with his love, making us feel his love from above.
Lifting prayer to God, today and always, walking in his light.
Lord, make of me more than I am today,
make opportunities for my life to shine.
In the shadow of the cross I long to stay,
accomplishing each task that you assign.
Lord, I ask not that my path be smooth,
but help me overcome the speed bumps of life.
For the burdens I carry only YOU can soothe,
and my day needn’t be filled with strife.
But each thing that I’ll encounter today,
is placed in my path not without cause.
Perhaps to build my faith so I won’t stray,
or merely to interrupt some unseen pause.
But whatever it is that you’d have me do,
in so doing I’ll have my thoughts on YOU.
Lord, I have come,
ready to do your will.
I know the call is for everyone,
but the chosen are few.
Though the last shall be first,
I stand a stranger at your banquet.
Make me worthy,
that I may sit at your table.
THE LORD IS MY MUSE*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Lord is my muse; I shall not despair.
He giveth me inspiration; he leadeth me to magical waters.
He restoreth my creativity; he float-eth ideas in my mind, for poetry’s sake.
Although I write in the early morning hours and darkness of night, I will remain tireless; for thou art with me; thy energy and enthusiasm comfort me.
We traverse the night together, endlessly seeking the stars. Thou anointest me with metaphors, rhymes, and alliterations; my imagination runneth over.
Surely effortlessly flowing words shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will write in the house of His spirit forever.
*Note: This poem was written for a 2024 Poetry Soup contest in which entrants were to adapt Psalm 23 for writers. My intent, therefore, was not to plagiarize the Bible.
Line of inquiry:
"conjoined with the whole
we play our life role
exuding a scent
granting love consent"
Hope in us glows
triumphant as our faith grows
spreading peace of blissful blessing-flows
along God's grace* to defy doubts and subdue woes.
Love from us does shine
radiating nature of the divine
as we strive to stay inside compassion's line
marked by kindness, freed from jurisdiction of "only mine."
Joy midst us is surely contagious
as we treat all the Lord's creation as indeed precious
forgiving and caring for one another, prayerfully conscious
always wishing the best for each other to become victorious.
* 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
Dedicated to George Stinney Jr
The mind of a child
Is one supposed to be filled with innocence
But his was clouded with fear
Barely out of the womb
And already he would be buried in a tomb
He barely had time to start life
Barely had time to love and be loved
He barely had time to be a son
He would make history
Just not how he would've imagined
He would become the youngest person on death row
Youngest person to be executed on death row
A black boy who never got to be a boy
His last thoughts were a prayer
To be saved, to be seen, to be given a chance
'Are you there God, its me george'
Unfortunately God's grace doesn't extend to his black 'children'
Unfortunately his life was cut short
Unfortunately he wouldn't get to grow old
Apparently he wasn't deemed worthy enough for 'God's love'
Justice was never served
Even after 81 years
No sound from busy traffic,
No sound from planes above,
No sound of human voices
Not even cooing doves.
Such silence gives me time to think
To wonder why I’m here
What purpose is my life today?
Uncertainty breeds fear.
I look up high and think of God
His word tells me he rules,
He sent his Son to sort us out.
We don’t need clever tools.
So come to Jesus Christ alone
He can forgive our sins
He died and rose to life again
In silence, come to him.
