Dilemma

we are a bundle of contradictions
on one hand bliss magnetism pervades form
on the other, earth life continues to test
love alone’s real but how to conform

the message of the master is simple
all conflicts must be healed by love alone
yet when called upon to fight injustice
principles discarded, we’re on our own

our back against the wall, where’s the option
save doing what it takes to do what’s right
for to lie down and pretend we are dead
is surely a betrayal of God’s light

we wish not to be drawn into battle
so we turn to God to steer our life’s course
since our master’s counsel must be obeyed
and conflict resolved without use of force

Powerful, very well written. Sometimes it is hard to stand alone, but it is beneficial, because we are not alone at all. God is ever present and sees it all. This is so bravely written. A fave.

Thanks Legros. Similar to Arjuna’s dilemma before battle Mahabharata, as elucidated in the epic, Bhagawad Gita.
