I Felt Like I
Was Destroying
A Universe,
When I Stirred
My Coffee...
You Didn't
See It, Though,
It Was Once
So Beautiful!

She needs that drink to start the day
When the children play
To get away
Meetings, lunch, that damn report
The never-ending stress
A drink to rest
She makes love like the dead
Her mind ahead
Major decisions, racing instead
A drink to unwind
To go to bed
Tomorrow a drink to get ahead
Engagements, talks, drinks to go
The high-powered girl has hit the low
Make up getting thicker now
Drink the crutch
Husband having an affair
It’s all too much
Drinks to get up
Starts to fall
Crashing down against the wall
Pulls herself up
In a daze
Looks in the mirror
In a haze
Sees a face
A slight trace
Pitiful tragic being
For the first time seeing
The ghost finally screaming
She stands up
The words would set her free
I am an alcoholic
Young man in a high powered car
Don't you realise what a danger you are?
You don't think until it's gone too far
Was it worth it to show off to your friends?
Now the reality hits as your victim's life ends
Young man in a high powered car
It's not a game, now responsibility must start
Revving your engine and reckless driving
Does not make you a star.
Young man in your high powered car
Your ego has pushed you too far
There are no car keys for murderers behind bars
With home run hitting Ryan Howard,
the Phillies offense is powered.
However, sometimes I have doubt
because he will frequently strike out.
A battle of two
God visions
Crazy thoughts
Detaching everyone
Absolute madness
Critical family
Deluded visions
Absolute determination for something that doesn’t exist
Some say it is positive
But are they right?
The suffering is immense
I have seen it
No-one can imagine how lonely the schizophrenic is
Battle of life
The only explanation
Give it a break dude
Kick start the motorbike
Absolute becrazed madness
Jug of whiskey
Dizzy sights
Empty threats
An arrogant loner stands alone
To improve his life
I might not live beyond 30
But I saw things no man saw
No child can dream
I am a man of speciality
No one can match this awe
Schizophrenia
The unique disease
He came up to play at first base.
He proved to be in the right place.
The Phillies offense is powered.
We thank God for Ryan Howard.
Last season’s Rookie-Of-The-Year.
We are so glad to have him here.
When he swings, the ball is towered.
We thank God for Ryan Howard.
He plays with great intensity.
Hitting many home runs, we’ll see.
His opponents all turn coward.
We thank God for Ryan Howard.
He is so big and strong to see,
and could be this year’s MVP.
He keeps pushing himself forward.
We thank God for Ryan Howard.
