They did the mash—they did the monster mash
In a field—in a field of trash
Republicans ain’t cool
Stink like a graveyard ghoul
One sick group—that we need to smash
Author's note: The limerick above can be recited to the rhythm of the Pickett hit song. I am supporting Bernie Sanders and hope he picks Elizabeth Warren for a running mate. The rest are fiends and zombies! This is not a joke.

I have a superhero;
his name is Pickett Tupp.
Before you count to zero,
he'll have picked it up.
Grandpa could have hurt his neck
but Pickett, super guy,
picked the peel up from the deck
where Junior let it lie.
I've another super friend;
her name's Poteeta Whey.
If it's out, you can depend
it's rightly put away.
When some kids can't find their stuff
they're like a mental case.
But she'll find it, sure enough,
because it's in its place.
From New Year's to December,
you'll always make Mom's day,
if you will just remember
Pickett Tupp and Poteeta Whey.

HERE'S WISHING YOU A BUCKET OF THE BEST,
FOR HAVING REACHED THAT GOLDEN CREST,
I MYSELF CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER THAT FAR BACK,
TO THE TIME WHEN I BROKE YOUTH'S BACK...
BUT WISHING YOU THE BEST FOR THE NEXT MANY YEARS,
YOU'LL ONLY GET UGLIER AND WISER SO BELAY YOUR FEARS.
MAY YOUR HEART BE FILLED WITH JOYFUL TEARS,
MEANWHILE, KICK BACK WITH A COUPLE A BEERS.

Rondel Pain
Poetry can inflict pain like a sharp rondel dagger,
Encircling each word with bigoted judgments on hand.
Down a spiral staircase a poet’s thoughts may stagger.
Semi-circular fashioned, ideas traverse memories’ span.
Hysterical, political…subject does not matter.
Orderliness and cleverness mete out the author’s plan.
Poetry can inflict pain like a sharp rondel dagger,
Encircling each word with bigoted judgments on hand.
Banter securely bound, released by creative augur.
Can choose many words found in vocabulary land.
Lexis gone thrilling can kill the heart of an iceman –
Stop, please! Choose kindly words; become a pain free enabler.
Poetry can inflict pain like a sharp rondel dagger.

Ole dog sniffin' don't know what,
His daddy was a beagle,
His mama was a mutt,
Long ears draggin' on the ground,
Loose skinned forehead
makin him frown,
Tail up and waggin' like a victory flag,
Dog years showin'
In his belly sag.
Old and gray but ain't ready to die,
Got a limp in his walk,
But a sparkle in his eye,
He knows his master will be calllin' him home,
And reward his huntin' with a big ole bone.
He lives for the love of that rough old man,
Adores him for a while
And gently licks his hand.
After a bit, Ole Dog will sprawl
by the fire on the rug,
And dream 'bout huntin''
With "Jackson the Pug".

The "lone wolf" some were
He follows his destiny
And he writes his heart out
His name is Jared and he is "the man"
A friend of mine
His is out there
I've yet to meet
Only on the streets
of the land your in right now
a wonderful world
ran by colorful words
and this man that I speak
writes these words

Redessa Pickett a wonderful mother
She's unique and like no other
Better known as Pap
She's always talking crap
You make her upset she will snap
She enjoys her grandbabies sitting in her lap
Very sweet and fun to be around
The best mother-in-law ever found
She like doing puzzle books, nitting, and of course fishing
Soon together we'll be going I keep wishing
If Redessa can't make you laugh noone can
She loves herself a dark skin man
My mother-in-law is also a great cook
Just 1 taste she'll have you hook.
