A life recovered from Stygian depths
tainted by the horrors of dark abyss.
He falters as he takes one thousand steps,
a life recovered.
Pale sunlight stippling through with warming bliss,
luminescence he warily accepts,
burning too brightly after his darkness.
There is a shortening of his sharp breaths
as stark reality he soon percepts
that forces him from his grim regrets,
a life recovered.

Are you that one..?
have you noticed
conversations are made of
percepts and concepts..
assumptions abound
that these 'cepts
define our lives and
the lives of others..
campfire tales
grammar school grammar
science's standard model
those wedding vows
all of these reinforce
said assumptions..
and most would say
of the above:
yes..so far so good..!
yet there is that
quiet one in the back
who has not spoken..
that one observes
the play of assumptions..
how the assumptions
cloud a hidden freedom
which is shared by all..
Are you that one...?

My Lord, when you sit on my throne....
When I was sitting on my own throne
I felt that I was a worthy and proud man
I did not realize the power of God and I did many sins
Even, I did not invite my Lord in to my heart
Neither visited churches nor listened to HIS percepts
Cause, the Satan was ruling in my heart
I was amazed with material world other than spiritual world
My life was struggling with pain and endless worries
Now I realized the value of God and HIS love
Since I offered Lord my throne, I became free from all the evils
from pain, worries, lust, greed, anger, egoism etc.
HIS shelter gave me heaven and HIS percepts purified my heart
When I raise my head and stretch both my arms to the sky
and being to pray my Lord, my tears begin to fill my eyes
because I heard my Lord say, "your sins are forgiven and
I remember no more but I still love you as a man as you are"
God is great and HE is there to wipe out sins and to give
us wonderful life in this world. Have a faith in HIM and earn
HIS blessings to live a peaceful life in this world.

Because, tomorrow never be mine.......
My Lord, I know tomorrow is not my day
and yesterday had gone as dream
but today I am here and let me have your blessings.
My Lord, I know tomorrow is not promise to anyone
and yesterday promises had gone with faith
but today I am here and let me have your
divine light shine upon me
My Lord, I know tomorrow will not come as I think
and yesterday had gone as I thought
But today I am here and let me have your
shelter to protect me tomorrow
My Lord, I know tomorrow your percepts can not be heard
and yesterday it was heard with divine words
But today I am here and let me have your
lesson to guide me tomorrow

In a corner of the town, stands a building of antiques.
Not an ordinary building but one that percepts the imagination;
sense datum begins and a scene takes place.
I am transpose to my great grandmother days.
I see the rocking chair that she owed
and the Raggedy Ann Doll given to me by her.
She is telling the store’s owner about his antiques
that this rocking chair was her favorite piece.
Oh, and she would like this doll for her grandbaby.
She said she wanted several rooms of furniture.
All must be vintage like her.
However, do not think of her as old.
She was short and plump with olive skin.
Her hair radiance gleamed.
Her smile meant everything.
She almost forgot my small gift that is when she shouted Lagniappe.

I thank Thee, Oh Father for each day’s delight
And for Thy loving Son who taught how to live right.
Oh, devoted Savior, you brought mankind new sight.
Let our minds be open to Thy truth and light.
Let us show forth love with humble spirits curled.
Let the glory of heaven be in our souls unfurled.
Let us do our part to prepare a peace filled world.
Let Thy righteous songs amid all mankind be twirled.
It is Thy love that makes all of life glow.
It is Thy will that one can prayerfully know.
It is each hope that loves Thy truthful flow.
It heralds Thy way when we opt to follow.
Guide us, Lord; help us walk Thy way.
Send evil temptations far away.
Please steer our leaders day by day.
Let wisdom teach each soul to pray.
Heaven on earth must be a mankind view.
Temperaments humbled with faith imbued.
Thy percepts are correct, Thy example true.
Eternity holds promise at each souls review.
